Found a swatch of Fiction eye shadow...

im getting all the eyeshadows and hoop and pink poodle lipstick and hoop glass im excited for these too!!! I liked all the lipsticks they had to vote for. but hoop and flavour and pink poodle where my faves. i also loved tomango and rozz but im happy with the winners. I have relenlessly red and all fired up so im not sure i need glam but we will see. i dont wear a lot of red, but i like the pinky reds.

I was spending time in Montreal ok 24 or so years ago and used to go to the MAC counter at The Bay. I purchased all my brushes and a brush roll and the little cube shaped nail polishes and my lipsticks there. I only had a handful because I was all over Glam once I discovered it. I used to take it over the border for my best friend who lived in NYC at the time. I remember when they opened up the flagship shop there~~ she was so excited! And that is why I thought the Viva Glam campaign started later. I was in San Fran when Viva came out and remember seeing Ru Paul signs and buying my MAC at sigh Henri Bendel I believe. I used to trek down there for the Caron and MAC counters. It was the only shop I ever saw Caron in huge flacons but I had been wearing Bellogia for about 10 yrs and mail ordering it from a wee shop in Harvard's Square until then. I was all agog.

My love of makeup blossomed into full-on obsession because of the original Mac pro store in Montreal (on St. Laurent- the counter at The Bay was there earlier). I had never seen such a variety of colours- it was like visiting wonderland.

I'm not sure that I'll end up with any of these shades, since I feel like Mac and others have done superior versions of them since the originals were out. I'd probably lean more towards getting the shadows than the lipsticks.

believe it or not some of my favorite lipsticks are frosts.... am I really old? I kinda squick at the thought of wearing frosts but I like the depth of color they provide. If done well of course. Antiquitease coll had some lovely frosts that are now in my b2m pocket.

AHHH i see. well im still gonna get it!!! And i have a few frosts i like. im not against any lipstick finish, i wear them all and all colors.

I wanted hoops but considering that I already have Betty Bright in my stash I am not sure if I would want it since Temptalia said it is a dupe.

Im gonna get two Hoop i think its different enough from Betty Bright to buy it but i LOVE those kind of colors. So it depends on if you wear that color enough i suppose. Coral bright pink is one of my most loved pinks. It is such a happy color it makes me smile. Only one pink poodle lipstick for me tho. I also want two Hoop lipglass for sure. Im gonna buy one red i think not sure if VG riri or Glam yet. Or the one from Playland.

What a relief! This entire collection is an easy skip for me, with no remorse.

I'm on a Low Buy and April has soooo many collections ( 9 ! ) i figured i was a goner, for sure. But now i've seen 7 of them and i'm only interested in Proenza Schouler (and only 2 things) and 3D Glitter. So my wallet and i are feeling safer.

I hope everyone enjoys their goodies from this collection - you can all have my share
