Thanks, liba! Super helpful as always.

My list on this collection is currently down to Green Room and Hidden Motive e/s's so I may look at snagging these fluidlines as well and practising my liner technique. I use the 266 so I know I'm headed in the right direction.. I just lack patience with myself, lol.
If you don't have Deep Fixation, you should consider it. Photos just can't do it justice. I literally own 2 eye shadows that I've BU'ed, out of a sizable collection, but I am seriously considering a BU of DF. It's the most perfect gently smokey, coppery neutral with gorgeous pink duochrome in it. It's just perfect in every way and puts all my others similar colors to shame.
I have Deep Fixation but have yet to use it (oops?), what would you recommend using it with? I'll have to give it a play before this collection comes out 'cause if it's that good then I'd likely get a BU.

Oh my, you need to bust it out. I'm NC15 too (maybe a little bit warmer than you, at least part of the year). I love it on its own, with Raven liner. I also like using it with chocolate browns for the crease and with sparkly pinks on the inner lid. It's honestly so rich and complex, it can just be used on its own without any other shadows. Bust it out!

Well, if you like the hunt, go for it, but I am definitely in the "the newer, the better" camp with makeup and there is never any lack of awesome new f/ls per year. Just this year, we've gotten It's Physical, Our Secret (another awesome one), Chilled (the only one I didn't buy, but only because I've got something similar already), Sassy Moss, Phlox Garden and now the three new ones in this collection. There's also that rumor Wholesome is coming back. There will certainly be at least a few more for fall through holiday, too. The new ones just get smoother, easier to spread, and more opaque than ones from even one or two years ago!

That description sounds gorgeous!

I think that right now I am most excited for Deep Fixation and the Fluidlines. Those fluidlines sound beautiful.

There are quite a few things I'm anticipating from this collection!

My #1 anticipation is Dark Ivy & Nightshade. No doubt in my mind they won't be awesome. The only thing that could possibly go wrong is if they are on the sheer side, but they sound blackened enough that that won't be an issue.

#2 anticipation is Blooming Mad. Mid-tone ultra violet sounds like the most perfect flattering color for me. I've been hoping for a color like this for a long, long time!

#3 is a tie between Phosphorescent and Lust Extract. Love the names and will love the colors if they are crazy bright. I bet Moody Bloom will be beautiful too.

I will probably get Green Room, although there isn't a green on earth I can buy before trying.

I just wore Blushing Berry yesterday, in anticipation. I forgot how long wearing and comfortable that formula is. I had it on the whole day without any fading or feathering. It didn't change color either. Maybe my lip pH is more stable than when these came out. That wouldn't surprise me.

Confession: I've never tried a Fluidline.    or a paint pot.
I have 3 paint pots, and I dunno what I'm doing wrong but when I apply them my eye area looks dry/patchy once they're applied.  I thought it was just dried out, but it's happened with all 3, even when BNIB.  I've near on given up making them work for me. I only own blacktrack fluidline, I have to admit it is fantastic and I would recommend it, but I've not jumped on the fluidline train and bought any others or LE's, mainly because I haven't perfected liner on my upper lashline and I'd rather not waste the money not using something, no matter how gorgeous the colour is.  :eek:hboy:
I have similar issues but love paintpots. Key tip that has helped for me is mosturizing before application and give the product a few minutes to absorb. Then take a tiny amount and warm up for a few seconds spreading it out on my pinkie and ring finger then spread the thinnest og layers on the lid and blend it in with gentle rubbing circles. Much less drying now.

Practice makes perfect. I actually got a MAC lesson once specifically to get tips 'n tricks and even then I had to practice in a magnifying mirror many, many times. When I'd have one eye that came out perfectly, I'd stop everything and just stare at it for a long time and try to analyze exactly where the line was going, eyes open and shut. Eventually, the lightbulb went on over my head and I can bust them out quickly now.

Erine's tutorial is great! It's SUPER important to understand the looking down part. Also for me, I realized that I'd always tilt my head to one side when I did my left eye, but never tilted my head when I did my right. Once I figured out my silly body language and reminded myself to cut it out, my liner became so much more even and perfect on both sides.
Unfortunately it's the shape of my eye that prevents me doing the wings. However, today I tried out a double line on upper lids. First I put a line with a bright pigment (and sealer), then went over it with a thinner darker line (Avenue).

Using the 219 to buff the paint pots onto your lids keeps them sheerer and less prone to bunching up. If you want the color to be darker and more vibrant do a few sheer layers instead of one thicker one. I use PPs every single day and I LOVE them but I know if I tried to apply them with a finger it would be a craptacular disaster!

I love the 219 for this purpose too!

If I don' t have a lot of time to do my eye look I first apply Blackground or Blacktrack with one 219 all over the lid. Then I use another 219 to set it with Carbon.
Followed by a dark purple or dark green eyeshadow for the crease.Applied with a third 219.
Last step is a highlighter (Crystal Avalanche e.g.) applied with the 224.I do also blend out the edges with it.
Smolder on the lower lash line and the waterline + mascara. And that's it!

At first I thought this collection would be a total skip, but the more I look at the colour story the more excited I'm becoming for it. BRING ON THE SWATCHES!

I am still trying to get the hang of things in MAC world and I know people get annoyed by the same questions being asked and I'm sorry but-
I remember seeing someone say something about releases are always on a certain day and the online release is the tuesday before? Or something like that? Can anyone confirm/deny this?

In that case is the June 26 date the in store date?
Anyway I got excited because for a moment I thought there was a possibility of this getting released ON my birthday (online) but now I realize that is probably not true but it will still be close enough!

Yes, the date in the thread title is almost always the in store release date. The online release is unpredictable. It sometimes launches a week before, and other times a few days before.
