I feel like I read somewhere that once upon a time there was a rumor that Cher was doing something with MAC, but I don't remember the details or where I read it.

If you are talking about something you heard recently, one of MAC's top artist was/is doing her makeup for her current tour so that may be the rumor you heard.

That is more than likely what is was. I read so much in one day for school, work and pleasure that it's hard to keep up with everything sometimes.

You're right I forgot about the Beth Ditto collection. People are definitely more familiar with Paramore, but I don't think people knew right away that Hayley Williams was the leader singer. It could be anyone's guess why they chose to make the Hayley Williams and Lorde collections smaller, but a little something is better than nothing. Now if we could just get a Florence Welch collection or a single lipstick, I would be through the roof with joy. 

Indeed something is better than nothing. I'd love a collaboration with Florence as well, the product names would be awesome.

Perhaps but MAC did do a decent sized Beth Ditto collection a couple years ago and maybe I'm wrong but I think people are more familiar with Paramore than Gossip considering their most recent album went number 1 on the billboard charts when it came out. That said, I'm just happy that MAC does show the more alternative leaning girls love from time to time.

I agree! I've been an alternative/indie music lover most of my life. It has definitely influenced my taste in make- up and clothes, too.
