Deep Fixation looks exactly like Urban Decay's Last Call to me. Coincidentally, I wore Last Call on my lids when I went to MAC today!

IMO Beauty Marked is darker and has more sparkle.

I'm really enjoying several of the things that I purchased, so I think some of the items are totally worth it for those of you who are still interested, but I understand your frustration. I can't believe that it still hasn't launched on MAC's site. It's pretty ridiculous. I mean, launching in store before the online release? When does that ever happen?

I wouldn't write off Copperthorn completely, as long as you know exactly what you are getting and feel like you can make it work for your needs.

Black Ivy on the other hand. One swipe and go type of color!

I'm wearing Nightshade on my lid today, too. I topped it with Hidden Motive. The Nightshade adds a nice complexity

LOL then copperthorn is definitely not for you---haha! But the lady who was wearing it today did two swipes to build it up, and she used the fluidline brush that they are selling with this collection. I don't have this one, but it's now on my list! (for August lol)

It was going to be a skip-a-roo for me since I didn't think I'd ever use it. It's gorgeous, but I know it'll probably only get swatched and or used once and then discarded. :/

They are definitely very similar but I think that Stars and Rockets is pinker and a hair darker. I don't actually own Stars and Rockets or I would swatch them for you, so I am basing this off of memory.

Blooming Mad, Stars and Rockets, and UD Fishnet are all similar. I feel like Stars and Rockets falls somewhere between Blooming Mad and Fishnet in color.

Ok so basically my MAC girl told me and showed me how she applied Copperthorn evenly and without fall out.
She took any standard white liner, clearly she was using MAC but I didn't pay attention to exactly what.
Line your lids as you normally would adding a good second layer lightly.
then take your liner brush of your choice and begin to dab on color over swiping the color...it'll cause fall out if you swipe.
Keep dabbing and you can do small, small strokes but not long ones.Just keep adding till you have to your ideal look.
It worked for her and it looks pretty and I didn't notice any fall out.

I need to go into saving mode, too.  Time for "No Buy July", I think, which kind of sucks because it's my birthday month.

I need this!! I need to be on a spending ban until A Novel Romance. I just got a RN job that starts July 14th. I need to save my money for scrubs and a down payment on a car. Which is going to be hard once I start receiving pay checks!

I'm on a no buy till the end of august I did it before for four months :thud: torture :lol:
