MAC Items Being Discontinued in 2014

That's what I'm saying! Crazy if it officially up in goodbyes, but if there is a prolong wear dupe then OK. Nightmoth is an iconic MAC shade name tho.

Yes there's something in the name, too, like you said, it's iconic. I don't live close to a MAC counter and currently don't drive, so I'll have to order a few just in case this is true. In a way I don't doubt it, tho

I just tried on the Patent Polish Lip Pencil in Berry Bold this week. When I said I'd be back for it on another trip, the MUA didn't say anything about it being discontinued, but I see it's in the Goodbyes section! I may have to go back sooner than planned.

Plink! Is a lipstick. It's a very sheer bright pink. No big loss IMO. It looks nice and bright but when you put it on you can barely see it.

I just checked the Goodbyes list and didn't see anything that I'm crushed about. Hopefully there's more to the Nightmoth and C-thru story. It's hard to imagine they'd get rid of such popular items.

Yeah I'm kind of dumbfounded myself. The only lip liner I'd heard of before I really got into MAC was Nightmoth. It just doesn't make sense.

anyhow a few days ago i went to the austrian mac site only to find out there is no face & body foundation, which lead me investigate more and find out that on the us page there is just a few shades left
are they discontinuing it or what is going on? cuz im finally happy with a foundation that suits my skin n my needs would be rly sad and i need to make a stock than cuz mac isnt available yet in my country

I checked because I got scared when I saw your post - F&B is still (or back?) on the Austrian website, it just says demnaechst wieder lieferbar so I assume it will be back in stock soon. I don't know where you live, but I'm pretty sure I saw it at a few of the Vienna stores the other day, if you need one soon.

If it is a packaging change I find it odd that White is not listed under LE, but all the other colors are. Hmmm.

Yeah, I don't think they'd discontinue Face and Body. But a repackaging doesn't make sense to me, either, because they only just came out with the 50ml size a year or two ago? So maybe it's a reformulation? Talking of 50ml F&B, only four shades are left on the MAC US site. Meanwhile, Macy's still has virtually every shade in stock on their website; Nordstrom is out of the middle N shades; Bloomies is out of several of the C shades as well as a few N shades.
