Has anyone used Kate Somerville's exfolikate? There are so many positive reviews and I wanted to try it but my chin has a tad bit of cystic acne and I'm wondering how y'all think it would respond.. or perhaps I could just use it on my cheeks/forehead?
I tried a lot from this line & my skin did not like it at all after a few days. It made my skin break out.

Between Ulta's 20% off and Sephora's 20% off.. I got this:
  • Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray
I am gearing up for the VIB sale now.. I probably will only buy a few things.
I think I'm gonna get this. I'm on my last full sized bottle and need to fill my travel size one

You peeps that have acne/sensitive skin should seriously get a sample of the Algenist melting cleanser! I have normal skin but is sensitive & it hates a lot of products. Since I started using the Algenist Melting Cleanser, my skin is insanely soft, clear, flawless & silky silky soft & glowy. NOT ONE BREAKOUT!!! And, it works amazingly well with the Mutli-Perfecting Pore Concentrate. The Algenist toner is really nice as well.

I'm throwing out everything else but my Chanel Purete cleaner & toner.
Your throwing out everything? What about the Dior skin products you and Meddy loved so much? Is it better than those? I'm going to check out the ingredients and get my samples tomorrow. That leaves enough time to try it before the sale ends. LOL

I'll have to try it. My skin is so sensitive and not perfect at all. I appreciate you mentioning a great product and your skin is flawless, so clearly it works!

Exactly! I would at least try it. I had this spot under my skin..not sure what it was. It wasn't acne but would get inflamed with some makeup.....its completely gone since I've been using the Algenist - about maybe 8 weeks now. I so want the Algenist line to work for everyone like it has me. We all want that great skin. Its worth trying. I have tried everything & nothing compares!
I'm totally going to try it.

What happens if you make it by 12/31 is it only good for 2014?

I did really like the Dior & went through all the product I had before trying the Algenist. The Dior is still quite good, but the Algenist so incredibly refined my skin in such a different incredibly healthy way that I feel that its better nutrition for my skin. ;)

You really really should!

Its very different how you use it. I use less than a pea size, pat it between my fingers then you gently massage it onto dry skin, then you use warm water and massage it around your skin (this changes the consistency of the product) then rinse off. I use just a bit of my Chanel cleanser on a washcloth for the final rinse off. If you use too much it can leave a bit of a residue feeling - nothing bad - but I love doing it this way. Your skin will feel so clean & yet hydrated & smooth. Then I use the multi pore concentrate on right after.

I've read other reviews that confirm how this has clear their skin up as well, so I know its not just me.

Deadly Catch, right - deeper blue based

It changed the position of my pic so Carmen top, DC, bottom

I think you can cut back with the pore refining serum, have u used it before? I didn't think it worked.
The lipstick remover also I didn't love, too messy and it didn't remove my stained lips from Heroine or OCC Hoochie...

Man, it's tough because they are both gorgeous. I can see the richness of Carmen coming through he screen. It looks so lush. I also prefer bluish based reds. Hmmm, decisions decisions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Has anyone tried flavors other than the original of the Jack Black lip balm? I'm replacing all of my old lip balms during this sale since I was using all of them when I had a really bad reaction that took over 4 months for my lips to recover from. I'm pretty sure I found the culprit (the Bite Beauty agave lip mask, of all things...which I used to wear all the time and totally loved so I'm still confused as to what happened), but I want to replace all of my balms since I was desperately applying any and all of them that I could get my hands on to try to keep the red splotchiness and peeling of my lips at bay.

I have used the original Jack Black and liked it, but the mint made my lips a little tingly, and I don't know how I feel about tingly lips right now since that's too similar a feeling to the beginning of an allergic reaction...just too close for comfort right now. So I'm thinking of trying either the Shea Butter & Vitamin E (which are both in the original formula anyway, no?) or the Black Tea & Blackberry. Or should I just get the trio and hope my lips are still ok with Jack Black? Ugh, this lip reaction really threw me for a loop. I used to buy anything and everything for my lips without hesitation, and now I'm petrified of having to go another 4 months with peeling lips I can't even put lipstick on!

So, my rambling aside...Shea Butter & Vitamin E, or Black Tea & Blackberry? TIA!

Have you tried Rosebud perfume co. Salve in a tube? I kissed my Jack's goodbye. Works great for my lips especially wearing retromattes during the winter.

I loooooove my Jack Black lip balm in the black tea & blackberry! Shea butter & Vitamin E also sounds nice, though I haven't tried it. Admittedly, my lips aren't sensitive. I'm so sorry to hear about that reaction! and glad your lips are feeling better now :)

My cart is at $320, too! It's killing me! But a lot of it is things I need anyway (Foundation, Face wash, Primer, etc.) That I'm nearly out of now and might as well take advantage of the sale. Personally, I would toss the KVD lip set. I don't like this new formula at all, it dried my lips to plums and some of them are horribly patchy. However, I have a weakness for mini things, so it's hard to pass up-- I can understand! Esp. if you like the formula. But you also mentioned you already own a couple of them, correct? I think it'll be alright to pass up on. But again that's my opinion. :)

I vote for black tea & blackberry! Smells great and has about the same ingredients as the Shea butter/ vitamin e anyways. It's my favorite scent and taste wise ;) No matter how much I spend on lip products, at the end of the day I still reach for some carmex :sigh: If you don't mind the packaging, Tony Moly lip balms are pretty nice too. I found it more moisturizing than JB!
