I need those spring 2015 balls...!!!
I ordered them in the wee hours while trying to calm down from the Christmas festivities!!!. They're backordered to 1/6 at Nordies ---that's not bad at all.

I hope it's a brief stay, if at all, and that you're on the mend quickly!!!

There are travel size balls in HK Guerlain 2 tiny tins but 1 single shade plus a brush. The meteorites here are way more expensive than the US or eBay

Yes. I think our UK ballers mentioned that. I think I'd be more inclined to to travel with a compact.
You also have the Meteorites Travel Touch. I don't think I will ever buy them but they look adorable. And am I the only one who thinks the spring balls could be in a more classy packaging? It looks so overdone with those cherubs on it. I am still tempted to buy them but I am already wondering how to store it out of sight. Then again I don't know if I want to spend so much money on a product I will love with a packaging I hate. What to do?

No way---I don't hate the packaging and I've already ordered them along with a compact/pressed météorites and an eyeshadow quad.
When you're dropping many coins, you should love your purchase.

Sometimes one can get caught in the hype but you are totally right. If I want cheesy I'm just a sucker for Ladurée. Think I will go for the petals and hope that Guerlain will release blush balls in a packaging more to my liking before the petals are used up.

Sounds like a great plan!

I don't care for cardboard myself, although I live with it for Naked and the KVD Monarch e/s palettes. I recently received the white pearls from Singapore and absolutely loathe them since they make me look like one of the Twilight vampires. I'm not a fan of glitter, and the ones I got are loaded with it.

If I don't like the cardboard packaging, I'm flushing the white balls and using the tin for my blush pearls.

So sorry to read that you ar not happy with them. Can't you use them as a highlighter? And I do hope that with flushing you do not mean flushing trough the toilet? That would be a waste of balls.

Yikes! D: It sucks that the white 00 perles didn't work out for you, Audrey C. I think you posted about them being a miss a few weeks ago as well and that more than half of perles were simply powder(not sure if it was on this thread or the general guerlain thread) but your first review was enough to convince me not to get them because of the wasted powder. I think that the new 01 Blanc de Perle ones are an improvement compared to the previous version--more soft, less glitter, and not stark--even though the latter is very pretty. Flushing them seems a little bit excessive and a total waste of money, is it possible to sell them at the Clearance Bin?

I recently tried the permanent version of the Dore meteorites and it's literally a blush on me. The new Clair was better suited for me but Medium is a nice choice as well if I get a tan. I haven't ordered the angel blush pearls yet because I want to know if it's similar to MAC Peaches and Cream from the Sharon/Kelly Osbourne collection. The fact that the packaging is smaller compared to the perm ones doesn't help either.

I'm a definitely believer in the realities of sunk cost. I've already spent the money and I don't like the product. I can't return it and I've already literally flushed 1/3-1/2 the container away. I don't love selling/shipping products and this is nowhere near a full container anymore. I do like the packaging, so I'd keep that. With any luck, I'll like the blush pearls container. If I don't, I'll separate the white balls and perhaps include some of the non glitter bomb ones into my Medium tin, toss the rest and use the container for blush.

The money is gone regardless, whether I use the product or not. I've tossed or BTM'd a ton of products in the past because I don't see the point in keeping products around that I'll never use. I've tried selling a few, but I'm in Canada and shipping costs are high for buyers and it's typically been more trouble than it's worth. I see this as a lesson learned (I really do know better than to buy into hype and buy this way).

It won't bother me in the least to throw them away. :)

You sound so sane, good to read. I do know how it feels if a product just doesn't live up to expectations but I know a friend who works in a retirement home. There are no funds for cosmetics but the women do love their make-overs so I give everything I don't love to them. It somehow feels less like a waste of money if someone else is enjoying my products. Then again, I'm not 15 anymore so it is easier to pass the things I like and just buy the things I love.

Using the containers for the blush is also a good idea. If you do like the blush pearls container you can always store stuff like bobby pins or hair ties in the other container.

Those names sound more like foundation or pressed powder to me.
