I lurve Sephora's warehouse these days. They're kicking butt and taking names.

I'll have Clair and the polish either tomorrow or Friday since my order already shipped! (*throws stink eye at NARS for good measure*)

Sorry for the major pic spam but here are some pictures with size comparison to the regular meteorites and a swatch. I really like this blush, it has a nice sheen but not sparkly. It is very small and the cardboard is not very sturdy, clearly not made for travel. Every time I took the puff out I got pink powder everywhere but I just blew it away and it didn't stick to anything or stain the box. Definitely going to take some care when using. I had a really hard time taking a good swatch pic as the weather has been refusing to cooperate with me but it is pretty accurate I think. I did use a heavy hand when I was putting it on my arm but it blended really well. I used my marc jacobs blush brush.
Stunningggg upset about packaging I was hoping it would be better but the blush balls are breathtaking Thanks for posting

Totally agree! Especially since it's part of their spring collection and is an LE item and not just something being added to the line. Not like that even makes it more acceptable.

Compact Clair - Its really a slight luminous, soft focus pretty appearance on the skin. Very minimal good shimmer! I love it dusted all over. It is quite light.
Blush Balls

that packaging while so beautiful is SO stupid. My sponge came completely saturated with the powder, it goes all over the place/box. Pretty much a nightmare. The puff is almost bigger/tight fit than the box which is creating the spillage. But, the shade is a beautiful warm rose pink. Its kind of a vintage shade.

I HATE how darn dry my skin is right now. We're at -5 degrees today LOL!

My local Nordstrom just received all three compact powders on counter. I'll go in to see them either tomorrow or Saturday. If you have a local Guerlain counter, perhaps they've arrived there too?

We're at 9 here brrrrr! You have beautiful skin.

Oooh I agree the color of those blush balls are amazing in your picture--a touch vintage and very soft. So French, really. Actually that shade looks lovely with your skin tone. The picture of the blush sponger is grrrrr, but maybe that excess product that can be used too? Maybe you can pick it up with a brush from the sponge. I hope I hope I hope.

All of the swatches of clair (including yours) seems to look a very subtle whisper of pink. Is this just my screen? Again, something that will go beautifully with your skin tone.

Enjoy your lovelies!!!!

Aww, you are so sweet dear! Thanks so much

Yes, the shade is very vintage/French which I adore!!! I love this shade on my very fair skin. A brush can definitely pick it up of the sponge because its so saturated with powder.

Clair does reflect a very very minimal slight pink tone. Its quite lovely on the skin. I'm not sure if the next shade would be too dark for me, but I may try it.

If you get the darker shade, I would love to know your thoughts on it.

SO frustrated right now.

Received a message from the counter manager that my local counter has the collection as of today. I called to find out how many blushes they have in (since I'm NOT leaving the house today), reached another worker (instead of the manger), who proceeded to argue with me that there are no Meteorites or blush in the collection and that I didn't know what I was talking about.

I love how pretty the blush is. The packaging is the prettiest mess I've ever seen lol. I cannot even open it without it being everywhere.

How does the medium look to you in comparison to my swatch - which is heavy on my finger. It doesn't look like that on my face. Its a beautiful soft veil.
ALL 3 - why not

Oh that's good to hear!!!

I totally skipped over the polish---I'll have to go in reverse and check it out!! Sephora is fast, especially for VIBRs. My goodies arrive from Nordies----the slow bus, next week.

I got to take a quick peek at the meteorites, the pressed compact and the Baby Glow yesterday. Despite the small package, I really do like the balls. (I was desperately trying not to laugh when the SA was showing them too me. Particularly when she said "I'm sure these will go quickly- everyone loves our little balls."

) Anyway, the collection should be out here in Canada within the next week or so, depending on when everyone can get their training for the new products.

I also received some VERY GOOD NEWS during my visit. Apparently, the Rouge Automatique line is not being discontinued after all. This counter (at The Bay) just had its fixtures redone to accommodate both the RAs and the Kiss Kiss lipsticks, so as far as she's concerned, they're not going anywhere. So for Canadians, the line will be out of Shoppers Drug Mart/ Pharmaprix/ Murale, but The Bay will continue to carry it. (It looks like Sephora will continue to carry a few shades, but nothing more.) I'm not sure what that means in the US, but it seems that the line will become retailer-specific, at least for the time being. Interestingly, the display I saw had testers of both the "limited edition" Rouge Automatiques from last Spring, so I'm wondering if those have actually been added to the permanent collection.

Sis you always have the best ever pics---so clear & color accurate. Based on your comments, I guess I shouldn't expect the puff-of-white with angels singing-experience that we got upon
pening our white balls (aka Perles de Blanc for the sensitive) canisters. I hope some of these sentiments make it back to Guerlain----product great, packaging total fail as far as the blush goes!!!

Thanks for the great pics and swatches Sis! Glad you warned about the mess upon opening too---I'll suit up for it first---as in hazmat suit!!!!

For sure you get the 'I maintained composure' award!! That is good news about the RA line---I totally avoided them when it was thought they'd be going away---I didn't want to get attached to them. Now I can try them w/o worry.

Wow! That wasn't rude at all, she said sarcastically.

I will never understand why employees do that. A simple statement basically saying she wasn't aware of them and perhaps had not seen them would suffice. She could simply arrange for the manager to call you back or for her to check with the manager and call you back. She clearly didn't want the commission.

Great pics Elegant! I'm way bummed about the blush packaging, but I think I'll still end up getting them
