I was so sad when Illamasqua pulled out of the US. Their foundation was up there with Becca's in my opinion. I really appreciated that they took the time to photograph the colors on different skin tones too. And I really want to try that new gel sculpt!

The Kryolan store in Chicago still sells Illamasqua, and will ship nationwide. So, if you know what you want, you can ring them up. I think the shipping is like $10? So might not be worth it for a single item, but if you were going to order a few things, it could balance out reasonably.

I stopped by my MAC counter again, and re-swatched MMG, Call the Hairdresser, and Reel Sexy. I totally forgot to check out Real Redhead. One of the lippies was missing from the Display... maybe that was it, and thus why I forgot about it.

I wish this collection would sell out and go away! I keep going back for more! I ended up with MMG and Chic Trick liner to go with it. I really liked CTH, but would have rather went with a liner to match MMG.

I realized that my only MAC counter around here didn't get RW! They have Wavelength in its place! SMH! A little tricky on their part! They should have just left it empty.

I need to call MAC and get my return labels for some things I got online that I didn't like. It's about $60 worth of product. My local MAC counter stinks, It's in Dillards and they never get the limited LE collections. Now I have like 4 items I need to send back.

I keep getting tempted by the CCBs from the MM collection. How do you all apply your cream color bases?

I really think that she may have just been getting into MAC makeup and got a little too carried away. I'm not mad about it. Maybe we should just leave a link to specktra for her

I can understand her complaint about it not working for her skin tone. I think makeup companies should be more aware of making colors that fit alll people. Like BP's. BUt I'm not really sure how I feel about returns or ppl who abuse the policy. If something doesn't work it's one thing, to buy up a bunch of stuff with no intentions on keeping it, or too boost your blog, might be bogus. But what if you just get caught up in the moment and then realize your don't want it all or can't afford it all. That's why I'm thankful for the US polices and say to each his own until things change. I personaly don't give makeup away to friends, only one who wears it, and would appreciate it. The rest wouldn't have a clue. I'D pass it to you all before them.

Some swatches Bouffant over Nubile, Wow Factor over Stormy Pink, WF over Half Wild and Preening over Clearwater. Preening over a very light application of Clearwater, Wow Factor over Half Wild, WF over Stormy Pink, Bouffant over Nubile. I never wear shadows without a paint pot which seems to intensify the colour. Bouffant isn't showing too well in the photos but it is really lovely over Nubile.

Thanks for the swatches. Gorgeous. I have Stormy Pink and I plan to pick up Clearwater now to go under preening.

The CCO close to me had them both a few months ago too, that's where I picked up my Stormy Pink.

Exactly. if I buy a lipstick and I can't get it to work, I'll ring up a friend first. And if any of my friends can't work a lipstick, I sell it on (without extorting anyone) And that happens on a blue moon. I've skipped on several lipsticks, because I don't know what to do with it or what liner will work etc. I hope they stop get from returning any future items, it's not fair on the genuine consumers who have to pay the inflated prices when they go up, all because she doesn't like the colour or the finish I'm having an issue with Silly, I've seen [@]montREALady[/@] swatch it and I like it, but will I get it to work? can I be creative with it? will I turn it down to the pink I want it to be. I've been asking those questions for nearly every collection this year, except for the MM palette cos I know I can have fun and match it with another lipstick

I totally agree with you Marsha. Silly is not going to work for me. I also feel that I do not need every shade Mac releases.

Yeah Silly is tricky. It's a color that can look clownish on certain ppl and complexions IMO. Especially without the right liner or without toning down. Which I sometimes feel defeats the purpose if you have to work so hard with a product.

Silly will certainly look clownish on me. That's a great way to put it. I know my imitations.

Happy Easter, ladies! I did a spring-like look yesterday for my daughters Easter egg hunt. I used Lovely Lily pigment on my lids, Lily White on the inner corners, Poppyseed in the crease and the lightest shade in the Naked 3 palette for my brow bone. I also used Lovecloud blush with PB as a highlight. Then I used MMG, but I muted it down a bit with Archie's Girls Summer Sweetheart lipglass. I didn't want to be the mom showing up looking like THE Easter Bunny! Haha. Imagine if I wore AG and MMG. HAHA!

Thanks so much! I swatched it at Macys yesterday. Its a bright pink fuchsia on me for some reason. Maybe it was Macys crappy lighting. I wanted it to be a bit deeper with a tad rose tone to it. I like how it looks on you.
