and a few that were dc'd when they switched to the new packaging (I popped them out of the compacts into the free palettes and can't remember some names. For example, there is a pretty shimmery gold whose name has something to do with sand in the desert and a grey I think was called Charlotte...)

That's what I was wondering.
Yes, because y'all don't know how hard I went in when I went in for Sephora shadows. I got into them just as they were making the transition from the old to the new. When I was shopping I memorized the names of the ones I wanted (I tried to find the old ones at the clearance price and catch the new ones at Chic Week, etc - I told you it was nuts). Plus, you know I bought some of them just for the names and or free palettes, which was easy to remember. I also have three of those mermaid-tail duochrome-y shadows that came out this year, but have yet to try.

All right, my broke Sephora Specktrettes-it's time for reviews since I think that most of you have received your Sephora boxes already. I'm most interested in the following but all reviews of what you have bought are welcomed. Thanks to everyone who reviewed so far (I'm guessing that the MUFE bronzers aren't a good fit for me -NC42).

Clinque Cheek Pops - I liked the ones that I swatched in store-if they are the same quality as the first four, I will buy a couple.

Urban Decay- are the new blushes and lipglosses any good?

Surratt Beauty - never heard of this company before the sale. I was able to swatch some of the blushes and eyeshadows in the store. They seem very pigmented but small for the price point. Do they live up to all the hype?

Thanks for reviewing!
I only have 1 of the old Cheek Pops but I have 3 of the new shades and they all seem to be the same in quality to me! I love them!
I purchased 2 UD ones yesterday and Im wearing it today, I've been wearing it for about 7 hours, I think you can still see it, even if it's not as vivid. I like it so far,

I picked up Quickie and Crush, later when I got home I realized Quiver was the one I wanted (but I like Quickie anyway so its fine), however I dont remember seeing Quiver when I purchased the 2 I did.

Well I think I'm one of the very few that don't like the cheek pops. I tried cola, nude, and pansy. Nude didn't show up on my nw20 skin, pansy wasn't very pigmented for me and I had to really try to get product off, even after using several kinds of brushes. Cola was pretty enough, but on me it wasn't as nice as some of my indie red blushes so I returned. The only urban decay blush I've tried is bittersweet and I love it. Very pigmented, beautiful purple color with a hint of pink on my skin.

I went to Sephora & returned that MUFE bronzer. I did try it on my face first, though. It didn't do much. It showed slightly on my cheekbones by my hairline but that's not hard because I have like this natural contour to my face there. It did absolutely nothing everywhere else I applied it. Still, it was nice and soft and didn't kick up a lot of product. Still bummed about it. Anyway, I exchanged it for two Nails Inc polishes (almost 3 but I controlled myself) and a Stella travel perfume. I really thought it was a rollerball and didn't pay attention to what the box said. It's a spray! I am so happy. I really don't like rollerballs all that much, but I wanted to take the fragrance with me. I had a couple of people in stores I went to asking me what I was wearing. I might get another because triple points! I want to rave about two things I got from the sale: the Lancome Difinicils mascara & MUFE Liquid Lift foundation. That MUFE foundation, I forgot how awesome it is. I always stray even when I find something awesome. It's so great for my dry skin and that's exactly how it's advertised. It takes no extra work to navigate the driest parts of my face (all around my nose and up to the start of my brows). If you have dry skin like me, give it a go. That + the HD powder was perfect all day. The Lancome mascara is amazing. I was settling for any mascara just to get to my bottom lashes, but this here grabs those little lashes and makes them look like something and w/o any mess. It's also friendly to my false lashes. I'm so glad I took a chance on it. It's the only one I'll use now (well unless I want to explore more Lancome). And I asked about the UD blushes again. The girl didn't have a clue. She said maybe next week or the week after. I could've ordered Quiver and received it by now. :eek:hboy: I might go ahead tomorrow after I get Rapture and the mini gloss from Sephora. If I like the mini gloss I'll throw in one with the blush from UD.
I used the Definicils a long time ago and I remember I liked it a lot. I think it was good for separating my lashes? It was about 8 years ago and I've done a lot of experimenting since then so I can't remember exactly what I liked about it.

I bought three of the Cheek Pops and find the texture and quality to be equal to the original collection. I'm really, really far from your skintone (NW10-15), but these blend wonderfully on me. I'd stay away from Nude Pop since it's lovely on me. I suspect it'd disappear on you.

That's exactly what it does. It just seems to grab every lash and separate and it made my bottom lashes look a bit longer. That's awesome because false lower lashes are a real pain in my behind.

That's why I asked, in your other post you said your daughter "fully" did something and I was like, "Is she Canadian?" Hehehe. I say that all the time. No they don't learn their lesson the next time around btw, lolll!
Lol!! As soon as I posted that, I was like "maaaaan I am so Toronto". I thought I reined in my use of bakardi slang. I'm assuming you're from MTL?
Congrats!! Are you having a boy or girl?
Thank you! Another little girl! Now I finally get a second chance to use the dozens of outfits I bought for our first lol.

I bought Melon Pop and it is seriously perfect! For what it's worth, I only have two blushes, including this, but I've tried and returned a lot. Like a lot lol. I'm keeping melon pop. I just posted in the Tom Ford thread, but what y'all's (totally a word, right) opinion too. I bought UD Fireball which is so special. But I also ordered Tom Ford Golden Peach. How similar do y'all think these are? Golden Peach is supposed to be delivered tomorrow and I can't decide if I'll return it unopened or not.

I can see subtle difference in them. For me, though it's not enough to keep both. I guess it ultimately comes down to how much you'd use a color like that.

They've been mentioned, but I don't remember anyone saying they've bought them. I didn't enjoy my experience with two of the older shades, but I am so desperate for an orange/coral stain that I might have to try these again eventually.
