With all the cream eyeshadows, what brushes do you use to apply and blend?
wavey.gif
Hi there Newface------I also use a synthetic brush. I start with a very small amount of product and build it gradually to my desired level of color saturation and depth.
When I do it this way for a main lid color I require little or no blending. If I'm taking the shadow up through the crease and transition area, I use the same technique, but I
then also use a blending brush to sheer it out.
HTHs.

Yea their perm basic shades are eeeeh ok!! I've been a bigger fan of UD n too faced shadows from the jump! I just came aboard with makeup when the Mac Me Over collection had just hit and since I've kinda monitored n followed their tactics
sneaky.gif
a lot of their popular LE shades-specifically lippies-end up coming back perm, repromoted or basically the same shade with a different name! It really grinds my gears to see folks OVER sell a $15 lippie on ebay or where ever but I understand some folks will pay the price for the novelty of it. I wouldn't cuz eventually it'll come back around. They aren't what they used to be but I do enjoy the hype of their collections and to hear folks stalking the site n counters doh!! With all that cheap mac talk bein said (LOL) I hate to say this out loud BUT with careful consideration iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii think I wanna

**talks really fast cuz im tryin to talk myself out of it** GETTHEPINKGLOWPALETTE   problem IZ...I think it's sold out everywhere so im not gonna feel bad about it. if it pops back up where ever....just let me know so I can grab it-thanx!!
Have you called around to stores? I decided at the last minute to get the first summer palette and found one by calling around to stores.

Likewise, I thought it was too much like TF shadows that I already have like Illicit & Spice but I threw caution to
the wind and got it anyway. I have yet to compare them but it doesn't matter at this point. I was also interested
in it as a duo----for the glitter because i'm a fan of TF glitter shadows that accompany many of his E/S palettes.

Mango you're starting to sound li my makeup twin. I haven't met a burgundy E/S that I didn't love!!!

Even if the color were a dupe---the formula is the clincher here!!!

Maggie (@mkoparanova) prefers EL for the scent and the cost. She had me curious so I ordered both the Bronze Goddess Eau Fraîche' SkinScent and the 'Bronze Goddess' Shimmering Body Oil Spray. How could I know when she made such a strong case for it AND Nordies had triple points and EL had a GWP-------a full-size foundation brush and samples of Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum (0.14 oz.) and Nutritious Vitality8 Moisture Creme (0.17 oz.).
Yes, You could not pass up triple points and a GWP. Those GWP's get all the time.

Anyone own or tried both Pink Sand cream blush and Skinnydip lipstick and can tell me if I can get the same effect by wearing Pink Sand on my lips? (Beauty Lookbook mentioned you can wear this on lips.) Trying to decide if I really need to buy Skinny Dip as well. It doesn't seem to be getting great reviews online but I'm a sucker for pinky gold shades.

Pink Sand blush on the left side of lips. Skinny Dip lipstick on the right side of lips.

Saks sent me a 15% off code and ebates is at 16% so I thought to myself "What bigger sign that I need more from this collection could I ask for??" I stopped by Nordstrom and tried Naked Bronze and Golden Peach, one on each eye, around noon. It's almost 4 hours later and there's some creasing with NB, and a lot of glitter on my under eye area with GP. I'm not sure if I should get either now! I also tried Gold Dust since I loved Terra so much. It's subtle and lovely. So, I'm stuck trying to decide if I should get Terra and Gold Dust? Or Terra and GP? Just Terra?

Hmmmm, what kind of bronzer do you prefer, matte or golden/shimmery? I'd say if you were not pleased with either e/s duo, go with both bronzers!

Meant GP*! Even with the fallout, GP is so pretty... I guess I should ask all of you how it's been wearing on your eyelids? The SA applied a TF primer first, the cream shadow and patted the topper onto my eyelid with her finger. It looked great! As for bronzers, I'm quickly becoming obsessed. I've been using LM Ritual and Hourglass Luminous Bronze religiously since I got them. Before those two I only had one satin and one matte so I'm not 100% sure on my finish preference yet. I'm still kind of in the ALL THE THINGS stage.

It wears really nicely on my lids! I use Soft Ochre by MAC for my base and the cream doesn't crease on my lids at all. There is NO way I could pass up on GP or NB...honestly, you're asking the wrong person, lol...i bought about 85-90% of this collection :eek:hboy:  anything that's not permanent, and you want it, GET IT GIRL! The bronzers are perm, so you can get them anytime!

I haven't noticed fallout with the new duos (I have all but the bronze one), which was a pleasant surprise. I already have Spice, and checked the gold glitter shade in Golden Mink against the powder in the bronze duo. It looks nearly exactly the same to me, so I just pat that on top of Spice.
