Dior Fall 2015- Cosmopolite

What came first the chicken or the egg? My point was, anyone who purchased the RECENT silver mirror polish from Chanel, in my limited opinion no need for both. I had totally forgotten about the Chanel silver/mirror polish. When I was at Nordy's yesterday, I knew I had seen it before. Could not remember where???? Thought it was Silver Star one. I had put the Dior on a nail and came home. As I was going through my ga-billions of nail polish, I found the recent Chanel. I then painted the nail next to the Dior, and after a few hours couldn't remember which one was which. I so do love the Nordy's Girl eyeshadow release. No regrets on that one. The formula is perfection, at least for me.
No joke---I'm wearing the Chanel polish, Intemporel right now. It's nearly MN here or I'd snap a quick pic. I'll try to remember tomorrow before I change the NP.
This is hysterical!

However, the chrome nail polish that I meant was from way back, not Silver Star, it was Kaleidoscope. I remember it because I was big on Chanel back then, but I still decided to get some other lower brand's version of it because it had better application. I actually forgot about Silver Star. FNO exists here, but the nail polishes don't, so I often forget about them.

While my point still stands, I won't go into this Chanel vs Dior fight that I feel like its brewing. I represent neither brand and they don't give me money to defend them, in fact all they do is take money from me. ;_;

It would be nice if Dior was copying Chanel though! Chanel discontinued Black Pearl and the bottle I have is ruined (and at the end anyway). I don't want to pay ridiculous prices for another bottle on evilbay.

It's time that Dior sends us all their products for free so that we can test them and give our advice before they put them into actual production and start selling them!

Yep, I tried Cosmic today (or whatever the purple is called.) The SA at Bloomies handed me two sponge tipped test applicators and walked away, like she didn't want to have to be there to answer questions when the strangeness of the formula became apparent. I swatched some of the product on the side of my hand and tried to pick it up and apply it with the applicator. Nothing got onto the eye just like happened to you, MK. Then the residue stained my hand. I tried multiple times and finally got some color on to my lids. Pretty color, very definitely. Red violet. It was either a thin wash or a very heavy dose. After I was probably the 50th person that day who had decided not to buy it, the SA came back and was super friendly as if to let me know, "Don't worry, I'm not going to try to sell you on it." The SA's must just love that product to pieces-- NOT!
Dang, that's rough!

:sigh:
   There are five shadows---looks like she used only two:shock: Those swatches gave me a real Fétiche palette vibe. She said she used all the other shades from Exubérante but the blue...

No clue what you are speaking of as a fight or a war.....it was merely a discussion. Moving on, this is after all makeup, not chemical warfare. So where you ever got the idea of I think one brand is better then another, you are so off based. End of discussion. Have a nice weekend.

If you use the matte top coat over Siler Star I would think it might resemble OPI Alcatraz in the sand formula. I think the color of that is really cool. But it takes a blow torch to remove it from your nails. Yes, I soak with the cotton balls. Look like something out of "Weird Science".

Spot on, but they need to remember, don't ask a question unless you want to hear the truth.....To clarity I love Dior. I was not bashing them, to me I was being me, as in telling it like it is. I am truly sorry if I offended anyone. It is frigginh nail polish......

We are not weak, we are not enablers, we are not hoarders. We are forging new ground so that others after us will not have to endure the tragedies we have. Know the glory of great highlighters, and have decorating tips with the incredible boxes we receive our goodies in. The smoke must have seeped into my brain......but heck it sounds good. Going down the rabbit hole with others makes it more fun and not as scary.

I'm loving the Nordy girl palette too, perfect for me! I liked the Silver Star polish, a bit different.

The highlighter looks beautiful. Do you think it would suit someone with pink / red undertones? Thanks.

It pulls pretty golden on me since i am very yellow toned. But i think it would work on every skin tone. this is very heavy finger swatch. With the brush it would be even more subtle

Oh gosh---I don't have the patience for anything that requires too much effort to remove. I love the way they look though!
