How does everyone like the outer clear plastic boxes? I kind of liked it for the Chromat collection and have had a hard time getting rid of it. I don't think I'll keep mine for this collection but I think people who like keeping boxes may like these as they can see the product in them. What do you think?

i got the two brush kits. i wanted the dark lipstick but it was gone by the time i logged on!
the compacts look very pretty but i have hit a critical mass on highlighters!
i'm surprised they didn't have more stock, but maybe they will be doing the whole 'oh look we have more stock!' and enticing people to buy randomness on their site in the meantime...

Got Rouge en Snow, It's Snowing e/s, and the peach powder in store today. They were sold out of all the e/s except the one I got, but they called another counter for me so I was able to get the ones I wanted and have them shipped to me. The people at the counter today were 100000000x more helpful than the people the last 5 times i've been there, so that was nice. I have Stylishly Merry, Delicate Drift and Frostwinked e/s on the way to me from the other counter.

Also pre-ordered the WoG face bag for Nov 2 and the nude lip bag. Went a little crazier than expected on this collection, but haven't been buying much lately so I feel OK about it.

It might still be available at the Bay online? But of course I'm not promising anything!

I also tried to pay for mine over the phone but also got the same song and dance about no holds or phone orders for this collection. Argh. I don't usually complain about MAC's launch fiascos but they really screwed this one up... They should have been prepared with A LOT of stock... almost every other brand does for their holiday releases. Very poorly executed on MAC's part.

Thank you for the heads up! I tried buying stylishly merry from The Bay online last night, but it was out of stock and I couldn't purchase it. It's still on the website today grrrrrrrrr but unavailable.:rant2::club::rofl:

Does anyone know what the deal is with the WOG set in Canada? I haven't seen it on the MAC or The Bay sites
I asked this a couple pages back too, it's very confusing. I read that the face kits (with WOG) and other items are launching during the second wave Nov 2.

I don't even bother with the Bay site anymore for cosmetics, the price are sometimes higher, the colour names are often not listed and they have items listed that aren't even instock all the time, I just go in store. Since the launch, I didn't see any other lipsticks listed except for the one red one. How did you find them?

I just saw MAC’s replies to a few people on IG that they have no plans to restock online... I’m so upset, was kinda excited for the collection. Wanted both the red lipsticks and all the eyeshadows at least. Not sure if the collection’s available in my country yet, probably not but I’ll have to keep track closely now

I am on a mission not to keep outer packaging anymore. This collection made it really easy.

I am not surprised. Marketing-wise it's better to have a collection with little stock, but a lot of hype, rather than trying to sell a collection that nobody wants. It still sucks for the consumer.

UGH...I would never believe that any particular Snow Ball item would sell out online in one day! I really wanted Elle Belle, but it is sold out online and in many stores in my area. This is the only item I wanted. I thought the holiday stuff is always well stocked...

In the past, holidays was always fully stock and restocked. Hope you can still find your goodies.

I wasn't looking for the lipsticks so I'm not 100% sure if the entire line released online at Hudson Bay, but I seem to remember seeing them when I was looking the eyeshadow.
The only way I even knew that Stylishly merry was sold out was because I bought it, but my confirmation email listed Delicate drift instead:doh:

I know I shouldn't buy things just for the packaging (I didn't really, as I really do like these products), but DANG THE PACKAGING IS SO PRETTY

I'd also like to think that they have miscalculated and should have pulled this "little stock" stunt for the Nicki Minaj collection instead... doesn't make sense for a holiday collection to run out this early. Thank goodness a really nice SA at my local MAC store said she would put aside what I want to purchase when the stocks arrive so I'm a little relieved now.
