I like it and I'm buying it, but I wish there were more greens. It looks like one is a gold-green and only one other is green. Am I seeing it correctly?
Yep sums it up and that why i'm not buying it .... I have the ND Brown - Green palette so really I do not need it and in that palette you have 3 shades that you basically have in the Minx palette, the Warm - Neutral matte palette, etc . I was also lemming the Tryst palette and I totally talk myself out of it. I have Nuance, Bridal, Bijoux and Paris palette so a big pass for me.

I am seeing 3 greens... a gold green in the middle of the bottom row, a medium green on the left of bottom row, and then a darker emerald in the top left corner. The two lightest white/cream shades may have a sort of duo chrome green flash, based on the description.

The darkest green looks black in swatches, so I'm not sure on that one. Duo chrome greens would be nice!

Ok who still really into the Natasha Denona tropical palette .... i'm still debating pro's and cons

Have you seen the Instagram posts about how little product is in this palette and how ND was trying to say she's still giving you the same amount of product, the shadows are made from more lightweight ingredients? But it's 1.5 g each vs 2.5 g for her other palettes, or something like that.
So people were flipping out, citing the pound of feathers vs a pound of bricks example.

Yes i've heard but that's not really a con for me, I care for the price of course I mean if i can pay 70$ instead of 129$ right? but it is the colours that make me rethink of the purchased.... i'm skipping ABH Soft glam because of the colours .... i prefer ND formula vs ABH .... but more I look at it and more I think that the top half of the Tropical colours IS soft glam .... so now ABH Soft glam is only 45$- 50$ canadian why not pay that price instead of 150% and more for the ND palette in Canadian $$. And than there is the last row .... I already have the Brown - Green, dont really care for the blues i'm left with the light violet . :-S

I am still into it and I've followed all of the feathers vs bricks debacle. I don't own many palettes so I cannot dupe many of the colors. For me it comes down to whether I want to spend the money or not. For some reason this palette feels nostalgic for me, like the colors remind me of my childhood - that and the names of them! I love the overall vibe with the peacock blue casing. I just really like it and I think I probably will buy it ;)

WOW  mic drop! Can you be my mother and just like, tell me what to do all.the.time?!!!! :roflmao:

But, but I want IT! LOL

:rotfl: I think we all have the top rows in our collection ten times over, and if you won't use the unique row, then the palette is a no-go.
But I definitely have the urge to collect it b/c it's another ND palette!

I’ve read some of the comments about the weight and price on the ND Instagram thread. Some people are so rude. Some of the comments were along the lines of ‘no one even knows who you are what makes you think you can charge $129’. It’s an expensive palette and if you don’t want it or like then don’t buy it, no need to be insulting. (Rant over).

I’m on the fence about this. Her mates are amazing but the new Pat Mc Grath palettes are coming out on the same day and I know I’ll get more use out of those.

But the thing with ND vs ABH is that I think of the ND 15pan palettes (Sunset and Lilac and even the Green -Brown to an extend) are made on the same concept then the Viseart. I feel she is creating those palettes with: -'' I don't care to add a black and a bone shade you have a tone of it'' She is giving you shades to compliment your collection ... when I first purchased the Sunset palette i regret it ... use it a couple times and move to something else, when the Lila came along I still purchased it even if the Sunset wasn't used but thruth be told I'm using more my Sunset WITH the Lila palette. So the Tropical for me is another addition or layer because you have what missing in the others a lot of light transition colours. Is this making sense?

totally with you! This is the price .... if you don't want to pay the price move along .... yes the Pat McGrath but is permanent right? and at 55$ it is a easier buy then at 100$ and + palette

Yes, definitely makes sense. I'm just trying to help you not want it, but I'm planning to buy all 3 of the McGrath palettes along with the mini ND palette. And I'm sure I'll end up with this palette too!
As for the weight, I don't care about those things personally. It was just such a weird scene to watch unfold. And I hate when people fight on social media. It's so ugly.

Yes, I watched Natasha's IG story addressing it. I didn't even know it was an issue. The weight thing doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me either. But I know some do consider weight in their decision to purchase. Sorry to hear people were rude about it.

I completely understand. I gave this purchase a little more thought than the others. On the one hand, it seems like a cooler toned palette and I don't usually wear those as much. On the other hand, it is something different in my collection and screams spring to me. Plus, I tend to wear more colorful shades come summer. The other con is there are a lot of light shades that I just don't know that they are necessary in one palette and I fear I can't get as much use out of them. The swatches look like they might work on my skin tone. I keep wavering but I will probably get it. I agree that if you have a few of the palettes you can find anything that is missing in one of the palettes. Oh except for black. Has she put black in any of the palettes? I don't think any I have but probably because she has the single black. I don't care as I rarely wear black shadow anyway. I do need a dark brown and wouldn't mind one in every single palette.

Like a boss! I want all 3 of those new palettes and Decadence! I will probably pick up the mini Sunset next time I'm stateside. I love going to that little section before the cash desk and buying all the minis LOL!
