All Things Sephora

It's easier to make snap judgement about people about something they know nothing about. I'm sure there is something that she is into that she is willing to so just about anything for. It's in really poor taste to berate someone for something that you don't understand. She needs to take her own advice and step away from the computer and think will my snarky message matter 5 mins from now? I read it and rolled my eyes so hard I think I hurt myself. I would like to invite her to Pro Player Stadium in Miami so she can have whole lot of seats. Tell that gal fi gwan!

She called people mentally ill for staying up all night and refreshing their computers

.
She should stay away from Specktra on MAC launch nights then

Well here is the funny thing, it says my order shipped but I never received the usual email with a tracking number. I'm trying not to wear my paranoia goggles, in case I get the email later.
Same--I've got a tracking number from the site but didn't get a confirmation email yet. Also in my panic yesterday I accidentally chose slower shipping than necessary so I won't know for sure until the end of the week probably.

i'm with you people are mad, they have the right to speak up, that what we call democracy and our consumer right, let them vent! I almost join the EPIC Fail FB page but decide i wasn't that mad so it wouldn't be genuine. In fact I was worst when I purchase the UD smoky Nude palette and a skincare product the Sunday before the 2X 3X etc was launch. Almost made a purchase the next Sunday to have more points and then I stop myself (so glad I did) and I was only refreshing a couple of time per hour during the day with my 4months old baby on my lap and only refresh once during the night as I had to wake up to feed baby..... so really not too much time wasted on my part. But then again i'm not VIB rouge and didn't spend a lot of my money like others. I really do think Sephora was wrong to advertised the triple points thing with the promise of the epic event and believe on that premises a lawsuit can be possible. In canada shoppers drug mart advised that some day you can earned double the points for a minimum dollar of purchase in store but they never announce in advance when we can spend those points for more money.
I think doing the extra points promo right before Epic Rewards with limited rewards to give out was the issue. It was a surefire way for people to increase the company's bottom line/$ (well now they'll be getting returns), but it was the classic bait & switch method. Sneaky and conniving. "Hey, get triple points to get one of our high-end rewards, we value youuuuu, buuuut we only have 4 for all you 6 million people out there!" (their FB has 6 million+ likes). I don't think it would be this bad if they didn't do the extra points thing right before it.

I mean I was pissed, but I also don't think enough to join that FB group. I only bought the Becca Champagne Pop during the 3X points and it's something I wanted and said from the beginning I was just going to purchase it to get triple points and push myself over 1K points to try for the Becca reward and if I didn't get it I'd still have my triple points (good thing I did
lol.gif
). I didn't buy one other thing, and took a skincare class last Thurs and still didn't buy anything at the end (they always try to push the products on you). I'm not buying from Sephora if I don't need to (bought from Gerard Cosmetics and Nordies last week though, lol!) But that's me, I totally get that others bought a lot to increase their chances with higher level rewards and don't knock them. Heck if you have the $, do you!

Oh, I got mine for my eye mask (

) at 9pm ET last night, but the tracking isn't even up on UPS yet. Try entering the order # plus "-01" on UPS.com as the reference # (not tracking, track by reference #) and see if it comes up. Probably won't since mine even isn't and I got that email.

Oh, so maybe it's the ones with the rewards that are a little glitchy. Probably fine.

I do still have $25 of credit at Sephora though. I guess I could save it for next year or if they have one of their holiday sets I'd like. I just like Nordies so much better! I bought some Strobe Cream and a foundation and got a free full-sized Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid. Why doesn't Sephora do stuff like this?

I just wanna thank Sephora for the comedy gold this whole thing has been, grown women throwing tantrums, threatening to never shop at sephora again, calling for sephora executives to be fired (lol), acting like this whole thing has ruined their lives... all this over makeup. I've literally laughed out loud over some of these comments and I can't believe they're coming from adult women. To all of you throwing these internet tantrums, I just wanna say I think it's time to reevaluate your life and your priorities. Sitting in front of computer hitting "refresh" for an entire night and day getting no sleep, is something only a mentally ill person would do. And those of you calling for the heads of marketing executives and the like (again lol), please realize that it's not going to happen, no one is going to be fired cause a stay at home mom obsessed with makeup wants "rewards justice". These execs know what they were doing and they'll do it again and again, and you women will threaten again and again to boycott them, only to find yourself shopping there again in a few weeks, hoarding more makeup.
A word of advice, look at yourself and think "will this matter a year from now?" No it won't. Cause it's makeup. That wasn't "free". Because you've already spent over 5k in makeup. You gals also need a basic course in math because if you actually went and bought more stuff you didn't need in the weeks leading to the event to try and get 2x or 3x the points, then I'm sorry to say you are an idiot.
Take a step back, log off, turn off your computer, leave your phone at home and go for a walk, go get yourself a cup of coffee and stop writing senseless stuff on this and all other social media, your crazy is showing."

This person is just trying to get a rise out of people for attention. I'm not a stay at home mom (which was quite an insulting comment to moms) &.... it's my money I can spend if I want to.....cue the music to it's my party I'll cry if I want to............

This is the type of girl who can't wing her eyeliner the right way, therefore, makeup is "trivial". I see you gurl!
I have my passions. I love books, video games and makeup. Three completely different types of fandom. I have people tell me that I'm too old to be playing games. However the same people will move heaven and earth to watch TV. God forbid you call some of them during Scandal. Do I tell them to DVR it and go outside and read a book? No I don't. I except the same sort of consideration while I rage that Rise of the Tomb Raider is a Xbox One timed exclusive!
I'm an Xbox girl but I was still shocked that it's going to be an exclusive! And also how we have to wait till holiday now, it was supposed to be out in March!

I literally want to skip through Sephora when I go in there. I take a big whiff and inhale all the fragrances then eagerly go check out whatever it is I went to check out. I may or may not do the Running Man dance too. Such a shame they can't get their rewards/communication/wtf ever it is together.
