I feel like the large amount of collections turns away loyal customers but people who just casually buy makeup are not phased. Especially those who don't buy makeup often, having the novelty of a "new collection" I think brings more people who weren't originally going to buy anything to make a purchase. It is a bit sad but usually strategic marketing gold. I know I am guilty of buying "new" items just for the heck of it.
I am hoping that MAC does not just release a collection of lustre lipsticks for the spring. As much as I liked the Fantasy of Flowers collection, there was no variety in lipsticks.I understand that it is an appropriate finish but why not throw in matte and satin finishes as well? Also, I would love to see limited edition lustreglass and dazzleglass shades. I feel like 2014 has seen the release of alot of Cremesheen glasses.

I definitely understand the desire for a variety of finishes of lipsticks, and I too love a good matte. But, I love the three lipsticks I got from FoF, lustre finish and all. I think there were lots of other lipstick offerings for spring besides the FoF ones. I wouldn't mind seeing another lustre or two like those for this spring, but hopefully they will be balanced with mattes too.

I'd love to see more Matte Frost lipsticks for the Spring '15 collection. I hope SoR isn't the last we've seen of this finish!

Yes the finish was still beautiful, but not quite what was expected.

OK I don't know where to put this but I just looked at Walmarts Black Friday ad and they are advertising a MAC lipstick for sale for $16. Uhhh what? Am I missing something??
