I'm always paranoid about fake products on eBay, particularly when they come from HK or Singapore. That might be completely unfair and perhaps my concerns are unfounded; has anyone has experience with that?

I am a little too, but geez they're pretty! I think Elegant & Meddy ordered the white ones from Singapore. There are just so many counterfeit items out there it's hard to know which ones are legit or not.

The Sephora store in my country had the Emilio Pucci perles available till some time in August. They took forever to be sold out. I need to check if they still have last year's holiday perles before they're sold out, or bring the new ones. :S

I always had a Singapore connection that I ordered from & everything was always Authentic & pristine. I haven't ordered from her in awhile so I don't even remember her name right now. My white 00perles were without a doubt 100% Authentic.

That'd be awesome!Nah, Perles du Paradise has been on the website for a VERY long time. Once the holiday version releases, they get rid of the other one. Sometimes they're available again during the sales. It has always been like that.
Not to sound snooty or anything, but because I usually know when all the new perles release (because I'm a crazy stalker), should I always inform you ladies? I didn't realize they were so popular and that there are avid collectors out there! I don't allow myself to purchase them all, but I do know when they release in Asia and Europe. You can't get some of them here, but you can still buy them off ebay usually.

Actually, you're pretty safe with goods from Hong Kong and Singapore, Singapore more than Hong Kong. Those countries are beauty meccas, and I've ordered plenty from both places. I feel a little safer ordering from Singapore because they have such strict rules and regulations, but it's hard to come by a seller from Singapore. They often have beauty sales there, so it's not hard for a seller to get their goods for a lot cheaper from, say, Tangs (department store), and sell it for a good profit on ebay. I've even had some of my products come with a department store label with a sale ticket on it. LOL! I guess it's because I know people who live in these countries, and they tell me it's not so bad.
But, it's ebay. I'm leery in general of anything I buy off ebay. I'll try to avoid it if I can, and I'll usually only buy if I already know the product well. Luckily, I've never had someone sell me a fake product before.

Plus, if you can prove you've been sold a fake product, doesn't ebay's guarantee cover that? I've bought 4 or 5 beauty products off ebay sellers with guarantees and very high reviews and everything has been great so far. I ordered 00 white balls from singapore too. Waiting on those.

Likewise. I've had positive experiences w/Ebay. I'm not an Ebay frequent buyer by any means, but the few times that I've used it were fine. I know what I can afford and what I'm willing to pay---totally steer clear of outrageous prices and used products. My Blanc De Perles 00 are from Singapore.
