I'm sorry I didn't see smokey eye palette until now. "I don't like smokey eyes palette, it looks grey/silver/pearl-sheen without real smoky color. I prefer smoking eyes quad of Smoke Signal if I must make a choice." snowkei told me.

your local store/counters. just call and ask if they are doing pre-orders. some counters start accepting pre-orders a few weeks before the release date

I'm all excited. I called my MAC store to see if they were going to be doing pre-orders for the holiday items, but alas she said no. Our Dillard's is taking pre-orders but the freestanding store isn't. What's up with that? BUT she said they're doing a special preview event on the Sunday before they start selling them. So, of course, I had her sign me up to attend and she said they expect to have all of the holiday stuff there for us to purchase early.

Hurrah!

Yet another reason to call your local store and ask a Q or two!

I am going to the Antiquitease event the Sunday before too!

Apparently, the mineralize e/s duo will be released there before the Holiday Palettes that won't be available until later.

I called my counter and stand alone today and was told that the e/s duos would be out about a month or so later than the Holiday Palettes and they would be available on the Oct. 25th. This is in TN. Anyone else have different info.

My counter told me it was all going to be together as planned. What is going on with MAC anyways? Is it normally this disorganized near Holiday and Fall?

not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but the 3 pigments being released in the holiday collection are called, your ladyship, goldstroke, and sweet sienna....

just incase nobody has seen any of the new loose beauty powders yet i was watching this video on youtube http://youtube.com/watch?v=uOvrSaBII68 and the girl showed 'Dancing Light' and 'Drizzle gold' which both look soo pretty i cant wait to see the others

I bought the pink beauty powder- its so shimmery and sparkley. Kind of glittery too with a light pink sheen

i found a few pictures here (i'm not posting them here b/c i didn't ask for her permission)

she said the eyeshadows in the cool palette is very glittery, and the ones in the warm one are smoother. the palette in the pictures is the warm one

the tube for the eyeliner set is made of plastic (same for the top part of the brush bags)

oh, and she also said the gold coloring on the palette *may* come off with frequent rubbing
