I am late to the MAC Christmas party this time around, but am torn about the palettes. My head says the Warm eyes as it is more versatile, but that grayed periwinkle in the cool eyes palette is singing the siren song of lilacky blues to me again. I checked out the swatches thread and Platonic seems to have a touch of blue to it, but its hard to tell. erine - how are the eye shadows in the cool eye palette as far as pigment and texture, especially Platonic, the grayed periwinkle shadow? I'm trying to be good and only allow myself one palette from this collection. Gah! I hate deciding between palettes, it's looking choosing puppies or kittens from a litter - they're all adorable.

I bought last year's brush set and i did not find anything wrong with them. I use the 187se more than the regular one.( IMO)

The lipglasses in the Adoring Carmine sets are quite small. Here's a photo of one next to a normal lipglass:
