If I come home late I remember it and it really gives me hope for the following three weeks.

I will get the collection before my exam, but I won't be able to enjoy it until I pass it. But then...

The only one I will be getting is the Eye set. The Basic set I found to be of lesser quality (the 129 looked/felt terrible to me); however, for someone just starting with brushes it might be OK. The only brush I liked in the Face set was the 187, the other brushes did not impress me at all. The 190 brush especially felt scratchy/stiff to me.

Looking forward to when the pigment sets are released.

Here's my review of the brush sets from earlier in this thread - if it helps at all.

Maybe because its Nordstrom? I dunno. The sets definitely look cheaper than I thought but they're well worth $35 if that's the case. Also they wouldn't let me have my palettes early which I was kind of sad about. I live 45 min away from my counter and just happened to be over here so I thought I would try but no go. They said they're being delivered in the am which I don't necessarily believe but maybe its true. So sad. But happy about the brushes if it indeed turns out to be accurate!

??? Interesting. I have not ordered any of these sets yet, so I will be keeping my eye on this before (if) I buy. I am actually considering just picking up the pigment sets and then I will be done with the Holiday collection.

Right now I don't really need the face brush set so I will skip that. I will definetely buy the eye brush set and maybe the basic brush set. I need to make some room in my financial plan for some dazzleglasses, maybe one e/s palette and two stark naked blushes!

I am sure I will pass it, too, but I start feeling nervous and a bit powerless right now. But just three more weeks after 7 years of university and traineeship. Just three more weeks.

Oh yes, and the champagne...

Stark naked has that huge imaginary must have-sticker on it so I will directly buy a backup. Bloomingate? Won't happen again!

Keep us posted. I may get them if they're $35. But for now, I'm not itching to get any brush sets......I'm waiting for them to show up at my CCO for $35+ tax.

Eeks I didn't really take a good look at the Basic set before I ordered it, is the 129 totally unusable? And what about the other brushes that come with? I'm thinking of giving this to my sister, because she's been saying how she doesn't want to be a schlumpy mom now that she is one, lol, so I thought maybe some basic brushes would be nice, but I don't want to give her crap, ya know?

I wish the face set didn't have the foundation brush. I have no use for that whatsoever. I did notice the 187 was synthetic just like my colour forms 187.

I don't think the 129 is unusable persay, but I did not like it at all. Keep in mind I have a large collection of high end brushes already (see below), so I am spoiled by those.

Since I bought one of the Color Forms brush sets during the summer, I think I am giving all 3 of these sets a pass. I have a ton of full size brushes (mostly MAC and Laura Mercier) and I have a pretty complete set of shorter handled ones that I use as a travel set.

I'm going to save for the LE full-sized brushes that are coming out for Blonde/Brunette/Redhead.

Well if it doesn't compare at all to the full-size MAC brushes I might not get this after all. I am kind of a snob over brushes, especially after my other color forms set was not as nice as the full size. lol.

Yea, it still said $49.50 on the sign at my Nordies, too, and online, so that's why I was like WTF when the MANAGER of the counter told me they were $35. I hope she wasn't wrong, because like I said before, it's not usual for MAC to ever have deals or "sales". lol.

I got my eye brush set today (the one with my fav, 217) Overall I think they are OK, but the 252 is disappointing. The bristles are rough and stiff, I gave it a good washing so hopefully it softens up. Out of this particular set I only had the 217 and the other ones I didnt own. So I guess this is a trial run for me. Oh, and it comes in this cute little red satin bag.
