Guys, this is exciting. I MAY really skip the blushes this time. When I see more swatches I can decide.

I KNOW I want Lightly Ripe. I think I may get Cult of Cherry lipglass (I know, I know...I dont do reds. But I can start...and since this is a gloss I can do it lightly)......

so my definites are:
*Lightly Ripe l/s
*Cult of Cherry lipglass

My maybes:
*Either blush, depending on how they look
*Creme Cerise
*Cherry Blossom l/g (Is it really that similar to Sugar Trance, I NEVER wear sugar trance)

I really love the look of the spiced chocolate quad but it looks like it would be pretty easy to dupe, what did you think? WHat did you haul from this collection? One more question...do you think So Scarlet would be too red for an NW20 w/yellow undertones?

Thanks! Does she have any pictures of the swatches on skin...

I looked at the ones here, and Blooming looks pretty, and Plum de Bois looks....brown lol. Im not sure if Blooming would show up on me.

I think the colors are well put together and just gorgeous! While yes, I do feel they are kind of dupable, i think these are diff enough to warrant picking up the quad.

I ended up with all 3 quads, so scarlet ls, and cult of cherry lipglass.

I am nw20 and so scarlet is perfect. I have swatches of me wearing it in the swatch thread.

Thats a decent list.

The blushes look lovely. Some of the swatches did look brown, but seeing it in the pot, it looks more plum. Use the plum in the hollows & highlight on top with the lighter shade.

I agree, the Plum du Bois looks more plum than brown. I made sure I swatched at the store before I picked it up. It's really a lovely color, CantaffordMAC. However, the Blossoming blush MIGHT be too light for you. I know it is for me.

So i went to a prostore today in hopes of b2ming for jampacked. they didnt have cult of cherry out, boooo!!! Anyway, the mua was going to try and find something similar for me. She went in back and swatched jam packed, and oh lordy! it is dark! I suppose the swatches i was looking at were not true to life, but jam packed is quite a dark plum/grape colour. I didnt try on the "dupe" cause i was a littel shocked. I know thats what this collection is, a lot of dark shades... but i thought i would share.

Other than that i didnt get to see anything, boooo.

So i came back from the MAC pro store and spent too much money. I bought 3 lipglases- Cult of Cherry (gorgeous bright red gloss), Jampacked (my fave lipglass), Rich and Ripe (pretty and vesatile), So Scarlet lipstick (which isn't as dark as I thought it would be- it's just beautiful) and Kirsch mattene (which is a dark berry color and one of my faves)
I also bought the Spiced Chocolate quad. I've heard some people compare some of the eyeshadow colors to Amber Lights and Cranberry but I'm really not good at finding dupes so I bought the quad and love it. The eyeshadow Brash is so smooth and really make my brown eyes pop so that sealed the deal for me.
I liked Smudged violet eyeshadow but I own Deep Truth and Shadowy Lady so I passed on this quad.
I also bought another Illegal Cargo e/s but that's from Naughty Nautical.
I love love love this collection. I may go back for Bing mattene.
So I'm happy but broke for now.

I'm on pins and needles people! I'm ready to play with this collection! I think I"m going to get all three quads - I don't have enough similar colors to warrant a pass on any quad. I'm sold on Bing and Chockful AND So Scarlet. I want to pick up Jampacked too. I'm not sure about the blushes as I picked up 6 from the Sonic Chic collection....I hope I don't like them...

That's a nice list! I'm going to get Cult of Cherry and Lightly Ripe also! Still deciding if I want Liquor or not too.

Going by the eyeball test, because I haven't seen the collection yet, Bing Mattene and NYX Medusa round lipstick are dupes. So if you want to try dark purple lips $14 or $2 on cherryculture. I have Medusa, it is pretty when I put like Opal or Perky l/g on top and just pat in on, a nice dark/opalescent purple.

I know but I have Cranberry, NYX Rust e/s and pigment (the pigment looks like the colourforms red), Embark, A little Folie, Shadowy Lady, Folie, 3 or 4 oranges from various companies and I want to do it, money not an issue, just buying unnecessarily dupes or close too the color, but I do want it so. Check out DRbrooklyn tut on YT, she makes me want it even more.
