I'd love to hear from everyone who's tried it, especially if you're like me about the whole glitter thing!

So, I love glitter...and I love lipsticks...but these are WAY TOO MUCH! I can't wear these lippies on their own. It is glitter city and not in a cute way.
The glitter is much less noticeable when you layer these over another lipstick or a lipbalm, but when worn on their own, I think the glitter is just overpowering and unattractive and seeps into the little cracks on the lips. I was majorly disappointed. I love MAC lipsticks - especially frosts, lustres and glazes. But these are relegated to layering status or going out clubbing status amongst my scores of lippies.
Baby's on Fire is the most wearable both because it has less of this glitter and the texture seems smoother. Also it is a really wearable red. This is my fav. of the bunch and I am not usually a red lipstick wearer.
Also, I found that in a lot of these (I bought 5 of these) the glitter is the same color...so once the base color of the lipstick wears off (and I find the base color to wear off pretty quickly, because as someone else said the lipstick seems to be a lustre formula), you're left with the same sort of glitter on the lips. And on me this is not a cute look - - although there are those who pull this off and look damn good doing it too! I wish I were one of them.
I do think Liquid Lurex is a unique color and Hellraiser is beautiful to look at. But after the OMG-new-product hype dies down a bit, I think the only one of these I'll really reach for is Baby's on Fire.
This is all just my opinion. More power to those of you who are rockin' these. I really wish I were in that camp. I want to love them, I just don't. I really would be surprised if these become perm....I think there has to be a better formulation for a "Dazzle" lippie.
Just my 2 cents. I would very strongly say try before buying or buy one and try it - before buying 5 like I did.
