I finally got my goodies tonight! You Got It on the lips and Scene To Be Seen on the cheeks. I had to do a heavy swatch to get it to show up. But, you have the idea. I am NW15 just for reference. I LOVE THEM!

What's up skin twin! I love YGI, it's like a 60s glam sheen on our lips. Looks gorgeous on you!

Tried On PP yesterday. And realized is not what I remember when I first tried it on. At first it looked like a mauve wine color, but now it looks weird. Kinda like a brown wine on me. Not flattering at all. I added magenta l/l and it looked better. But I had to apply a lot so it dried out my lips. Bummer!

It could just be different lighting or using different blush or eye makeup or a different colored outfit. That color is SO changeable. Try Hip & Happy too, if you have it - that one is great for taking out the brown.

I like wearing it with the matching csg the best - that softens the color very nicely.

Are there reasonable dupes for Dark Deed? MACc preferably but other brands even? I don't want the bag just for the lipstick.

I like it a lot more with a purple lip liner and a light application. If I pile it on it gets really brown on me. I have also worn it with a dot of NYX lip gloss in Cosmo right in the center to add a little dimension and I really liked it that way.

I love MAC pigments, they were my first MAC love in fact. I think the sets would be perfect for you to try some out. Sugarpills pigments are awesome too! I own pretty much all of them, well all except the bright ones.
I I really need to get some of these.can u believe I don't have any

Thank you! I too orbit around NC20 depending on the season and I tend to lean onto medium or light foundations. I hate cakiness so I usually am in a constant battle between avoiding too much shine (some is alright, that is what blot papers are for) and looking too powdery. I am thinking about asking for a sample to see how it works. It's just that the MAs keep pointing me towards Prolongwear and Studio Fix and me personally I love the finish of Face and Body and I am looking for something similar but with a bit more coverage for days when I have to take it up a notch. My skin is also sensible so good to know that it did not irritate your skin
Thanks so much! It's a fabulous foundation. I just ran out of my Mineralize cream foundation in the compact and was comparing the two and the finish on the liquid is even nicer and more natural than the cream, plus just as much coverage. It's also a touch dewier, in a good, natural skin sort of way.
A little behind on this thread... I spent the last weekend moving. What a nightmare, how did I accumulate so much crap?! Anyway, I find that the liquid mineralized foundation is a bit sticky whereas the one in the compact is more lightweight. Liba is right in that the liquid one looks shinier on the skin. When I used to use the mineralized foundations, I would set them with blot powder so that they'd not be too oily looking for the most part of the day, though towards the end of the day, it starts to show... Like it is no longer a continuous finish but breaks up and looks like beads of product on the skin. So now I actually use the mineralized cream compact as a spot coverage and I tap MSFN on top of it to set it. If I need to have flawless skin, I use Armani Maestro all over under the mineralized cream compact. Maestro is expensive yes, but you use only 4 drops or so each time and the finish is so amazingly luxurious. It is like a velvet finish that is ultra lightweight and the natural mattifying effect lasts easily 8 hours without any setting powder on top. You should get a sample to try it out.
