liba, I don't think there is any scientific way of winging your liner.. it is a mini study in anatomy because one eye is different from the other even on the same face.

the only way I can get a nice wing -- and it doesn't have to be thick, but I like it to kind of wing out is to practice with pencil and a q tip.. from the middle eye where your iris is, start lining but don't follow the eye curve and wing slightly outwards and upwards towards the end of the eye. if you get an upwards flick it will be slightly thicker and more continuous. You can put ES like Carbon or any color on top and use any color pencil to start, or you can use the liquid liner or a gel on top. I have taught this method to a number of young women and they have mastered the cat eye.

good luck!

I'm wondering how anyone will wear best of breed and jealous? Layering with another lip products? Do they change the look of the lipstick underneath?

I think I just talked myself out of Docile... looks an aweful lot like Icescape now that I look at it.

I am hoping to take a peek at this collection on Monday when my boys go back to school (that is if they have it in yet).

aaarrrrrgggghhhh... we're going the wrong way!!! these shots make the bb quad look really pretty, which is giving me the doubt... That feeling like maybe I wrote it off too quickly...

I find that Cunning looks a lot more like a lustre than a frost. Maybe it's a trick of the light? It is awfully pretty... Maybe it's different enough from Hipster to justify both...

PMP is much more sheer than I originally thought, so maybe I can pass on that. Have to save money where I can.

Thanks, as always, to Erin, for allowing me to find newer and more colourful ways of going broke.

I plan to layer Best of Breed. Jealous I'll be wearing straight up by itself or with Liquid Lurex.

I like aristo-cat, schemer, spree, wildly refined. The quads I'm not much for as they arent my colors. That one in LL looks kinda like Firespot..3rd from the left

Cunning just jumped back on my list! Hopefully, I don't like Kittenish as much.

Thanks for the swatches, Erin!

In other news, I'm thinking I may actually skip Bloodline. It seems too brown to me

What are people's opinions on moth brown? She said that was close, right? Do you use it, or does it sit untouched????

I can't get mine to look right either and I think part of it is the brush....an angled one that's not chisel sharp. It seems it drags somewhat always at the "flick" and ALWAYS on the left eye. I have wrinkles too which I think is also impeding my wing to look right

Actually, I just swapped my Moth Brown today. I got it from a swap too a while back, and I honestly did not understand the hype at all. The color payoff is poor (at least the one i got) and the color is not that special either (which probably because of the pigmentation).
I did not regret swapping it one bit! Hopefully wont be.

not a trick. i swatched it and had to do a double-take. its a frost, but doesn't apply as one. kinda like a well-known red - QS!!!!!

not at all!

as far as the bags go, people keep mentioning the ocelot bag that i described. now, ya'll know its not a print, right? its just a solid brown. all the bags are solid coloured.

anywho, my top picks are:

PP:
cunning lipstick
LOL gloss
SH and SB liners
bloodline pigment
pet me MB

LL:
WR gloss
LL quad
all 3 liners
lithe pigment
utterly game MB

BB:
kittenish lipstick (even tho i don't have swatch yet)
BB quad
all 3 liners
AG pigment (i know its online and FSS perm, but if you don't got it, get it!!!)
