Best of Breed l/g- Not sure I want to get a purple and blue l/g. I wear a lot of pinks and muted colored l/s. Darker shades just look weird on me. Is this l/g a must?
Aristo-Cat l/s- This is a darker shade than I'm used to, but not TOO dark. So I'm on the fence on this one. It's just so purty

Liquid Lurex is gorgeous and subtle. It's pretty sheer, but it has tons of champagne pink sparkle, so from some angles it looks more opaque. I've worn it over Dervish lip pencil and it looks lovely like that.

Docile is a tough one to figure out from swatches, but HerGreyness says there's a lot of purples coming up next year, so that might be something to consider.

Personally, I prefer Pet Me, Please to Out-Minxed because I think it'll be more versatile right out of the tube, BUT it's a frost and I know some people don't like those (I'm ok with them, but my lips aren't often dry). For gold lippies from this collection I love Schemer the best.

Best of Breed: did you like Chillin' from ITG? From what fabulous HerGreyness said replying to my question, BoB has that gorgeous micro shimmer like Flurry of Fun, something Chillin' doesn't have. One thing I've loved about Chillin' so far is it makes some previously difficult shades like Gaga and Bloomin' Lovely wearable for me without muting the colors down - it just gives them a slight cool cast that takes off the chalky milky edge. BoB will be like that but with that micro shimmer too!

Aristo-Cat strike me as a pink rose equivalent of Fresh Salmon. It looks like it's the same tone, maybe a touch more muted. Again, it's a frost, so that's a consideration - the swatch looks a bit dry. It's still one of the most appealing to me, since I'm NC15 with red pigmented lips and those mid-tones look fantastic on me - easier to pull off than the light colors for sure.

I still think this is a really tough collection to judge from swatches....my personal picks change every darn day

Pet Me, Please, BoB and Jealous are for sure, though (already have LL), with To Pamper, Aristo-Cat, Spree and Schemer serious possibilities too after trying them on my lips.

Those liners look soooo sooo awesome.

Do you guys have a lot of eyeliners in your collections? I don't really... Like for instance.. One gold liner from one brand is similar enough to me not to buy a second gold liner from a second brand. I buy shadows that are similar to shades I already have but can't really justify doing the same with liners. So, I want all of them but at the same time... It just seems superfluous.

The first one swatched by Erin though--that purple one---WILL be mine.

Hmmm...my list isnt as big as I expected. I REALLY hate that we dont have a counter closer to me. I have to buy based on swatches only. And its so much easier to decide when you actually see the colors in person.

It's quite frusterating. I need as much advice about what to get as I can get. Thats why I love it here. It helps me out to hear it from people that know what thier talking about

Liquid Lurex l/s- the more I see it the more beautiful it looks!

I ended up getting Liquid Lurex after seeing so many pretty pictures of it. The SA had me try it on over Angel lipstick, and the result was really lovely!

I did end up pre-ordering some items from this collection. I got:

-Leopard Luxe Eyeshadow Quad
-Burmese Beauty
-Definitely Feline Superslick liquid liner
-Antique Pigment

I figured I'd take a look at the lippies before purchasing, especially since I have such a glut of MAC lipsticks and glasses I need to use up.

I love using liner, but I try to stay away from duplicate colors unless it's going to give me a really different look - like I have a black kohl pencil and a black greasepaint stick and a black pearlglide (surprisingly no black liquid liner currently, but I guess that's what this collection will be for!) Same for plum.

Actually, that reminds me.....

Does anyone have a guide on how to determine the best angle for a liquid liner cat's eye for your eye shape? I have an eye shape/lid combo that makes a subtle flip sort of disappear but to do a more extended line takes planning and finesse! This is why I always seem to avoid liquid liners....
