I went over to check out the collection this evening at Macy's & only a couple items were left; actually only 2 of the 5 items I wanted to check out. The only e/s I was interested in was Fresh Daisy. To me, it looks like White Frost w/ the sheen finish of Crystal Avalanche added in. I have so many whites in different finishes that I just don't need anymore.
I wanted to check out the 3 lipgelees, although the only 1 I knew I might be interested in purchasing was Fashion Flower, however, this & Budding Beauty were sold old. So, I checked out Now in Season which is a very pretty, mildly yellow based gel that has turquoise, gold &, I think, maybe a tad of pink glitter particles (can't remember -- someone, please correct me on this if I'm wrong.) This color by itself did nothing for me, but if I were a wearer of lipsticks in the orange family, I would have definitely bought it, but I'm not. I tried it over CB96 & it paired well; yellow over orange always looks nice. I wore it out of the store by itself & in a very short time, the base lost it's yellowness & it just looked like I had glittered clear gloss on. As Temptalia said, it is close to Bubble Lounge from the Cham Pale collection because of the pale gloss color & both having the same colored glitter.
Originally, the coral gelee (sorry, forgot the name) appealed to me, but in seeing the swatches & some of your opinions that it wasn't highly pigmented 'caused me to lose interest. I assume that if used over oranges & corals, it would look great. Anyway, it was sold out so it's beside the point.
The only lipgelee I really wanted to check out was Fashion Flower as Temptalia said it was close to Luxure, but more pink -- although from her swatches it looked more like the silvery pink of Sin-tillation to me -- which I, stupidly, didn't get a backup of. As I have (2) Luxures, 1 Sin-tillation & (3) Shift to Pinks, I was interested in seeing how this compared & if it warranted purchasing. Oh, well, there'll be more lipgelees coming & I'm not exactly wanting.
