Light Sunshine looks very pretty in her swatch, but I can't imagine it'll look that different than Play it Proper on my skin... although it's a little warmer. Alpha Girl looks pretty but with wickedly poor payoff.
Summer Shower continues to look boring. Mlle continues to look streaky. Growing Trend looks exactly the same as Gaga 2 to me.
I think the eye shadows are a complete skip for me.
Play it Proper was a beauty powder that came out with, um, dammit ??Stylishly Yours?? in January. It's very subtle, but it's a cool, ultra-light white pink and on pale skin it simply glows. I adore it- gorgeous silky texture, wonderful subtle highlight, it makes my skin look like fine marble with a slight pink effect. Light Sunshine looks similar, although a little warmer. So the question is- will I even be able to tell the difference?
Am I correct in assuming that Pro stores have this out today and that all others will have it next Thursday now? I will definitely still check everything out, because there have definitely been examples of things that looked completely different in person or on me than they did in swatches (for instance, I think I'm the only person in the world on whom Strange Potion l/g looked absolutely terrible).
[/quote] I know what you mean. When I first bought it, I loved it. It was my 2nd fave from VV(behind Toxic Tale). However, when I reached for it again a couple of weeks ago, I thought it looked pretty terrible. It was kinda streaky and something was just off. Then, I tried it over some lipsticks and the magic was back. It's perfect over Niagara by Nars.
