well now. my department chair just came into my office with his goofy charlie brown grin and gave me a gift card to macy's as a belated administrative professional's day gift, lol!
i am so tempted to try to find EH now, but i need to get my meaty self some shorts. i must ponder this new development.

Mine shipped too - should be here tomorrow. MAC CS said that because of the bad weather - UPS is having issues - they cannot even download some tracking numbers, but it appears they are keeping it moving.

I just came back from MAC and everything was still available. The MA's said they didnt know this collection was coming out until they got an email this morning. There was nobody in the store. The only thing I picked up from this collection was Budding Beauty lipgelee, its very pretty
!!!! I passed on Now In Season lipgelee because it had too much glitter for me.

I just came back from MAC as well and everything was still available. I only got Now In Season. I originally wanted Growing Trend, but it's too similar to Viva Glam Gaga 2 for my taste. Ever Hip didn't impress me and neither did Summer Shower. And I didn't even bother to try Mlle. But I'm okay, because it leaves me more money for Surf Baby.

I saw the collection and only got one thing - Ever hip lipstick which I love! It looks better on the lips than it does swatched on the hand. The biggest dissapointment for me was Summer shower lipstick, there's no aqua base at all to it, it's very sheer and basically looks like a silvery sheen of fine glitter after heavily swatching. It does look pretty in the tube though. Fleurry of fun lipgloss has way more noticable teal glitter than this does. Summer shower is basically like a weak version of the dazzleglass lipsticks...I want a real aqua lipstick!!!
I whiped out my heatherette Alpha girl and yeah it is too powdery like how I remember it but I wore it in conjunction with Stereo Rose and got a very pretty peachy color. Light Sunshine was just as powdery in texture.

They're exactly the same
only difference is the one from LOL has the special packaging. Otherwise they're 100% the same.

I did my haul today and everything was still available (of course, I went to a store that only had it out as of this morning, so I would have been surprised if something was already sold out). I came back with:

I was very tempted by Light Sunshine, but, since I have both Play It Proper and Miss Behave, I really couldn't justify it. I also really liked Fresh Daisy and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice highlighter. To me, it looked like a good dupe for Manila paper and/ or Dazzlelight. Other than Lucky Green, I felt that this was the only one that had good colour payoff. The other shades- particularly groundswell- were liked trying to get colour to rub off pottery. If you like either Aqua or Free to Be, I'd suggest getting them in regular pan form, because the pressed pattern seems to pack them too tightly. I was a bit tempted by Now in Season Lip Gelee when I tried it, but then I dabbed some on my lips, I couldn't really see a difference between it and the other sparkly l/g I have (Bubble Lounge and Resort Life), or at least, not enough of a difference to make me decide to buy it. I would have grabbed Bows & Curtseys, but I have NARS Night Porter, which is very similar but, to me at least, better.
So I felt like I was pretty good overall. Then I went to the Guerlain counter...

When I first saw the new one swatched I thought it looked a just a bit deeper - then I just saw Temptalia's side by side swatches of the old & new - the new one does look a bit deeper/more pigmented.

Fashion Flower is now up on the Nordstrom site. I got super excited because Nordstrom ships internationally now (I'm in New Zealand), but just my luck - MAC is an exception!

Ever hip is AMAZING!! I love this color! It's officially my favorite coral!! If your thinking about buying any of these GET THE ASAP!! Like the quite cute lipsticks, I'm gussing these will sell out just as quickly.

I highly recommend trying the studio fix boldlash. I'm not a fan of the original studio fix lash but the new one is very nice. Falselash is still my fave when it comes to MAC mascara but the new fix is super black and the formula wears very well.

I just bought ever hip & the coral lip gelee...something beauty!?? I LOVE ever hip, i can't pull off corals easily but this is the perfect pinky coral. I'm going back tmrw for a backup!

I've been bad, guys. I went to Bloomingdales to see the collection and to get Bows and Curtsey's. Why did I leave with Summer Shower and Alpha Girl? hboy: Summer Shower looked really pretty so I said why not. Then I decided to get Alpha Girl because the MUA put it on my face and I thought it was pretty. She put it all over actually and it was nice. I have a lot of extra money unexpectedly so I got those 2. The MUA told me to use Nightmoth with SS. I did that when I got home. It's alright, but I prefer it by itself or perhaps a more natural liner. I never liked the Nightmoth+ lighter color. It's seems dated to me, personally. Neither of these items, in my opinion are a must, but if you have the extra cash, why not? Oh and Ever Hip looked horrible on my hand so I said forget it. That's how I remembered it from last time. No sir.
