I was looking at those online... do you know what size the lg is? I know it's a mini but it's hard to tell HOW mini they are :)

The teddy bears are gorgeous

Got my goodies

Double Spin - I didn't like it when I first applied it because it looked like I ate a powdered doughnut, then when it warmed up & blended into my lips I really liked it. You only need a sheer coat, don't cake it on. And, I think it will be wonderful topped with any gloss.

SG BP - its THE softest angelic glow ever.
HB BP - Lovely lovely natural glowy warmth. And, it is absolutely beautiful dusted over Snowglobe. Baby baby soft glowy very sheer Refined Golden kinda color. Its exactly what I thought it would be.

Snow Season is pretty on, nothing exceptional & not quite as peachy tinted as I thought, but still quite pretty on.

My lighting was dark & cloudy today so the swatches weren't so good.

Thanks for the review and the pics. I was wondering about Double Spin and SG BP. I think I will try to go check these out in person.

Glad MAC came through on the shipping. That has been my experience with them as well. When I have had any mishaps they get it to me in lightning speed.

Mac-Guy--Love the teddy pics. I will definitely have to pick him up as well.

He can sit by the Tartan teddies (although they are still in the MAC bag) but when they come out he can:)

I just put SG on with Strada! I love SG, I'm so glad I decided to get it :D

Has anyone tried the Pro longwear concealers? I got NC15 and it's a teeny tiny bit too dark (mostly around my chin/jaw area) do I need NW15 instead?

Mac Guy I LOVE the teddy bears! got both the full size and key chain version from tartan, the fact that this one comes with l/g is just an added bonus can't wait for swatches (but i'm getting it no matter what, since I love the teddy bear and helping the viva glam cause)

I did a soft eye today with my UD Naked Palette: Sin on lid, Naked in Crease, Virgin browbone
Used black liquid winged liner and Nars Madly blush on my cheeks w/ Lightscapade highlighter

AND.... What Joy! l/s with Dressed to Dazzle l/g on top! What an AMAZING combo on me! (NC30/35 for ref)
What Joy! had me a little nervous because it looks so dark in the tube, but Temptalia's swatches convinced me to try it... and I'm so glad I did! It's THEE perfect berry lip for the Holidays! And Dressed to Dazzle on top is perfection!

Question...
Does anyone have a rec for a good lip liner to use with What Joy! l/s? I like to use a liner with darker colors, but not sure which one to go for with this berry tone? Anyone tried one with it they liked?
Ordered the 11C MUFE (Matte Dark Raspberry) lip liner with my Sephora F&F order but haven't received it yet to try.

Kanga Rouge is one of my all time favorite reds. Thank you MACGuy for the pics and the video. My list is surprisingly small. I'm definitely looking at you Shimmermint MES. I was going to get the Let's Skate pp until someone mentioned its similarity to the MUFE Aqua Cream that I already own. I'm actually interested in the Iced Delights Sultry Set. I usually avoid the Holiday collections for some reason this is the 1st time in my addiction that I'm looking forward to the release.

which one?

I received my order - yay! I got:
Make it Perfect Brush set
For Effect Paint Pot
Let's Skate Paint Pot
Shimmermint MES
Frozen Blue MES
Hold that Pose MES

I might return Frozen Blue because it's an easy to dupe silver (in my opinion) and Let's Skate is very sheer, but it might be a good way to have an easy day time sparkle. I'll know more after I play with them a bit. For Effect is a must have for me and Shimmermint is simply gorgeous. The brushes are beautiful and look to be the same quality as all of the other MAC brushes. I was able to look at every thing a second time while In Las Vegas before I placed my order (October 21), and decided the beauty powders were not something I needed. The Snowglobe is very similar to Lightscaped and the How Beautiful was too dark. I didn't get any of the eye liners because of the reviews, but I was tempted because they didn't appear to be as difficult to apply as the previous technokohls, but again, the colors were similar to other liners I already have and the reviews were not so good, so I held off on those.

FYI - I'm a NC25
thanks for the review =)
you're making me want For Effect now lol

I don't know if this has been posted already but I found swatches of Shimmermint and an eye makeup with the MES on a german blog:

Thank you so much! Now THIS is what I remember Shimmermint looking like when I swatched it.

So excited I get to pick my stuff up tomorrow!!! Will take pics but they will most likely be on my Tumblr feed before I post them to Specktra. Damned firerwall at work will only let us read 'geek' forums...

Needed more 50 SPF P&P (drugstore SPF breaks me out) so I threw SG in the basket. Not real happy about white packaging but I hope I like the product. Decided I needed a slightly pinkish highlight less in your face than Pink Opal.

Played with my products a little bit tonight.

Snowglobe is gorgeous!!! It's not an obvious highlighter shade. However, used on top of the cheekbone, it just glows on my face. I didn't try it all over, but I will in the future.

The only other thing I got is the cool palette (wrong thread, I know). I didn't use it on the eye yet, just did some quick swatches. All of the shadows swatched very nicely on me. The white one (snowball) looks like transparent teal reflects, in eyeshadow form. I didn't quite see the teal translate on the skin, but I wasn't in great lighting. Warm & Smoky looks more blue in the pan (under crappy lighting), I was scared it was another version of deep truth, but on the skin, it's definitely purple. The other shades are very nice. I already own Idol Eyes, and it's not the greatest shadow, but when it's used intentionally as a sheer shade with sparkle, it's really nice. The grey (howzat) is... grey, nothing to write home about. Set to Dance is a blackened purple, and it seemed to swatch nicely for a matte shade. Illegal Cargo is pretty, I feel like I have it in another permanent shadow though.

The palette is really cute, too! It's heavy because of the water, but it's not huge. Travel friendly, but not airplane friendly.

I got a bit nervous about the palette when I saw T's review this morning, before my UPS man came, but mine swatched much more nicely. Maybe she got a different batch?

Thanks for your review! This was a fav of me and my MA when we swatched a couple weeks ago. I was really surprised she gave it such a bad review, but I don't really consider her reviews in my decisions anymore because I would have missed out on alot of good stuff had I listened to her reviews. I think most things in this collection are better in person.
