OK, last question Mac-Guy. Do you spritz w/ alcohol or do you put it on a wipe? And, what % of alcohol do you recommend as I've heard that the higher %s don't disinfect well because they dry to rapidly. I'm assuming 70 or 91%? Thank you!

Look up Goss the makeup artist on youtube. He has a wonderful video on disinfecting your makeup. It's more simple than you think.
So I wonder....Is the new brown technakhol similar in color to teddy? I pre-ordered it anyway...plus How Beautiful, and the white brush set. I would like to see more swatches of the MES and the lipsticks to make even more decisions.

Hey guys!! I've missed being on Specktra but I've had to pay off some large payments so makeup had to take a back seat. I certainly did not want to be in debt over Mac's collections.
And this site always make me long for makeup so I had to stay away!
I'm headed to NYC at the end of November and early December so most of my money will be spent on travelling etc. But I definitely want some of the items from this collection! If it's going to be out in stores on the 27th of Oct, I'm guessing it will be online sometime on the 24th-25th?
I already have a preliminary list that I will have to cut short:
1. Let's skate pp
2. Morning frost pp
3. Frozen blue mes
4. Shimmermint mes
5. Whirls & Twirls l/s
6. Such flare l/s
7. Spanking rich d/g
8. Dressed to dazzle d/g
I'm tempted to remove the paintpots so that my list can dwindle to 6 items. Did I read somewhere that Ice Parade is coming out at the same time? I want the warm and sultry eyeshadow palettes from that collection as well.

I went to my Nordies counter to preview/preorder today...**The only thing I didn't see was the pigment gift sets
I pre-ordered:
"What Joy" lipstick ...close to Hang-Up but slightly more...berry/pink...gorgeous and right up my alley
Snow Season MES...described as a soft brown, I would describe it more as a peachy pink beige (gorgeous wet especially)
Sultry e/s palette: Couldn't resist these colors!! Gah. Berrys, browns, right up my alley. Yes please and thank you.
*****What I was tempted to get/what I think is going to be popular:
The paint pots are GORGEOUS...especially the pale pink one with shimmer (Let's Skate) and the taupe (Morning Frost). I skipped on pale pink because I know it won't show up on me, and the taupe was too similar to something I have from Benefit. But no doubt about it, people are going to freak over these...prettty.
I was tempted to buy Frozen blue MES...it's a gorgeous gray leaning light blue with shimmaaaa lol. Its so vibrant, omg. Perfect Ice Skaters blue. But I knew I wouldn't use it. So alas I parted ways, with great sadness.
One of the sets which I *think* is the Warm Fabulously Flawless Face Kit (tho the colors Temptalia is naming is not what I recall seeing in this palette?): A couple of the e/s were SO gorgeous...one was a darker/less copper version of Antiqued. and one was a darker version of Expensive Pink e/s. GAH. I didn't like the blush or l/g that came with it though and the particular brushes are useless to me...so..I had to pass

And lastly, the item I had the hardest time saying no to "Snowglobe" beauty powder...its a subtle, sheeny cheek highlight that will look gorgeous on fair/pale girls especially...but it really was SUBTLE. I felt like it wasn't different enough from my HG highlighter to have both. Finely milled and would be gorgeous over blush

Is Snowglobe more pink with beige or beige with pink!? If it has too much pink, it will be off my list. TIA

My nordies wouldn't let me swatch anything...lol it's all in the display cases and you can preorder but not swatch. I'll go back when everything is swatchable
