I'm glad some of you understood one of my posts, using the phone to post leads to serious errors! Thanks Elegant, I'll look into the 109!

Ps: what do you think of h&n mascara- I am thinking of trying it and we seem to have similar taste.....
I just spritz a cloud of Fix+ in the direction of my face and sort of stick my head into it

For these MES, I do one spritz per eye, and then let it dry without any further buffing - I do all my buffing beforehand. I'd say it's enough Fix+ for the eyes to definitely feel moistened.

I've got mixed feelings about H&N. I like the options the dual brush gives. I also sometimes really like that thick fake look it gives to the lashes. The main thing I don't like is that it's a bitch to remove - have to use my strongest eye makeup remover and even then it gets all over and I have to rub to even get it all out. I'm more of an Optilash person, but it doesn't give the drama like H&N.

I got my fan brush from Sephora. Their I.T. Collection. It is a MUST HAVE brush for me... as it applies the PERFECT amount of highlighter to the cheekbones and nose! I use mine everyday!

As for you martiangurll... ONLY 2 MES!!!??? Ok, I guess Snow Season and Winterized. I love them as a combo! Although leaving out Shimmermint is hard! What are your choices?

Well, I caved, I just got:
Snowglobe
Dressed to Dazzle
Winterized
and another (fourth) split fibre brush (love this brush to use with all of the MES products).

Now, I really need to stop! However, I am returning Frozen Blue, too much like all of the other silver sparkle shadows I already have.

I think I picked up about 5 (or is it 6) of them along with the little mini np set that I shipped to my sister in South Korea on Saturday. Some pics are in my Tumblr feed. I wish Specktra had an iPhone app.

Fresh Ice is so gorgeous but I ended up buying Chanel's Platine Soft Touch es instead as I liked the look texture & color just a bit more.

When the Stylishly Yours collection came out and my favorite MAC MUA was applying the Virgin Isle CCB on my cheek, a very fair skinned lady came over and said while she liked the color she was scared it would look too bright on her. She watched as the MUA used the fan brush to take the color from super bright to a sheer wash of color. The lady bought a fan brush on the spot.

If MAC no longer carries them I know E.L.F. Studio has a fan brush. I've seen them at Target.
hmmm...i might try the mac pro when i get a chance. maybe it's just the website/counters that don't have it anymore. if not i will try smashbox...

IF you could only afford 2 MES, which would they be???

i could only afford two, so i bought winterized and snowseason. :)
(and i love them both)
but i guess it really depends on skintone and personal style, since the rest of them didn't really look so hot on me, but seeing everybody's swatches and photos, seem to be quite flattering on a lot of people!

are you tending towards any shades in particular?

I'd agree with Snow Season and Winterized. They make a nice look together. When I picked up Winterized, I asked my fav MA which would look good with it, Hold that pose or Snow Season and she said Snow Season since it would add warmth rather than cool all over the eye. I'd also consider what catches your attention and what you already have in your collection.

IF you could only afford 2 MES, which would they be???
