Hehehe...main reason being: I am a BLUSH WHORE. whatever blush, msf, mineralized blush or beauty powder MAC releases...I will buy them. Unless they are too dark for my skintone
i love collecting blushers..
nunu: Intenso, grand duo and loverock are definitely
NOT sheer. Moonriver is though...scroll up one or two page before u will see the swatch of moonriver on my face
General comments on the collection:
What i like about the grand duo blushers is that u can use them as blush (the solid side) and highlighting (the swirly side) and not to mention...if u are a fan of shimmery e/s, u can use the swirly side as e/s as well. Therefore i feel the mineralized blushers released this time round are pretty versatile. Just my one cents worth.
Texture: The solid side has a texture similar to the sonic chic blushers while the swirly side is the shimmery side which is comparable to the swirly half of the flashtronic eyeshadows. The swirly side is definitely too sheer to be used as a blush by itself...i would suggest one to use it more for highlighting purpose if u don't want to become a glitterball

Hence i won't recommend one to swirl the blush all over the pan, unless u are a fan of shimmers on your face. I would use the solid side as a base blush, and the swirly side for highlighting over the area where i want to.
For some of the duos with the darker swirly sides such as Earth to Earth, you could use them for contouring or as an eyeshadow instead of highlighting.
That's all for my review on the Grand duo collection. I love the grand duos!! this has to be Mac's best collection for this year!!!
