I keep going into MAC and I have YET to buy a set ofanything, I go for it, swatch it and STILL don't buy it

what is wrong with me? I bought like 6 eyeshadows that have nothing to do with the Holiday Set lols
I'm starting to want the smokety eyes set from last year rather than this year, but the packaging is soooooooooooooooo cute....

I def want a lip gloss set

If anyone has swatched or bought the fab-racadabra kit - could you please advise whether you think it will be suitable for pale-ish skin? It would be much appreciated as I can't decide whether it will be too dark for me

Also, do you think the 2 beauty powders in the hocus pocus kit are real must-haves or not?

Is this collection out in the UK stores tomorrow? and how quick do you think we'll have to be - do you think there's danger of it selling out before the weekend? (its my first mac xmas collection!)

im the same as you on the sets. id rather have separate e/s, and im sure in my stash that i could find a dupe for certain colours

thanks, i long for soft and gentle to be a bit lighter and softer, but i just cant bring myself to part with the £43 for the whole kit! i'll treat myself to something else instead

I wore my smoke & mirrors palette today and it was gorgeous!

I'm so happy I got it. This is what I want as my everyday look, but just didn't have all the right shades yet. I put the lightest colour on the inner 1/3 of my lid, the medium colours on the outer 2/3rd's of my lid, and the darkest colours in the crease & outer v.

So pretty!!

ok dumb question...where are we supposed to post swatches of the lipglass sets? I didn't find a thread for "Mischief Makers", so do they just go with the Magic Mirth & Mischief (Holiday Kits Part I) swatches?

That's what it looks like to me. A thread was never created/posted. I believe even in discussion the sets were listed in part 1. So I'd say it would go in that thread, UNLESS a Mischief Makers thread pops up soon

It depends on how much you like Soft and Gentle (or how obsessed you are with MSF's LOL). I recently bought Shimpagne (Thanks Tish

) and already had Soft and Gentle... When I got them I was surprised at how similar they are (nearly identical on me!) but I love that shimmer so I'm not disappointed by any means. But if you aren't totally in love with S&G, I would get a different MSF because Shimpagne is VERY close.

Wow, has anyone seen the swatches of the Sexy Lipgloss set (not sure what the official name is)! OMG, I was trying to hold off on buying these for myself so I could put them on my Christmas list, but they look amazing! That Elle color looks like nothing I have ever seen and I think I must go look at them tomorrow LOL.
I am already buying myself the Smokey Eye pigments for fear they will sell out before Xmas

Everytime I go into my Macy's counter for something, they always try to convince me that the new collections are going to sell out so fast... then I end up seeing the stuff at the CCO. What do you guys think? Think the piggie sets will sell out? The lipgloss sets?

Elle is definitely not what I was expecting! It looks white in the tube, but when you swatch it you can see tons of peachy shimmer. The MA was really excited about this color and once she swatched it I was like wow, that really is different!
