anytime the packaging is replaced, MAC will usually ship all the old packaging (like the big jars of pigment) back to their supplier (unless its limited edition)

Yes, all slimshines are dced. Also some lip gelees and I think Delft and Artifact PP too. I don't think that they'll be Pro items (at least here, not sure about other countries) because they were on clearance(-50%) and my local store is a Pro store as well so it would make no sense to get rid of them if they were not dced.

Also, most pigments have dissapeared from the store but I think that's because of the jar change. They will eventually come back but in the new packaging.

I got my MP order in and all of my pigments came in the new jars except for 1...I was surprise they still had some in the old style.

I hope that we get an official list of the disc. items soon.
I hate to get worried and worked up if there is no reason to be.

I really don't understand why they are discontinuing most of the Paint Pots but only keeping the neutrals

I still managed to pick up Delft and Artifact a few weeks ago

^^Probably because the colored ones don't sell as well as the neutrals, and MAC knows that if it releases colored ones as LEs they will be more likely to sell. MAC did the same thing with paints and shadesticks.

Even though I already both Delft and Fresco Rose paint pots, I'm kinda disappointed they're DCed. They're both such beautiful colors!

I'm sad, fresco rose is the pp I've used the most, its quite down. I'll have to debate buying a backup.....

I agree. Though at the same time, look how long it took them to repromote Fresco Rose and to come up with a NEW p/p (the coral one coming up). I hope if they are planning on repromoting or debuting new colors they get their asses in gear!

I really wish they'd repromote paints here and there instead of only paint pots or shadesticks. Both paint pots and shadesticks crease on me without a primer, paints don't!!

yes i love paints and there is no need for udpp with them for me either. the best base that mac does!

You guys had me worried when you were talking about Vanilla pigment being discontinued. I just check the Canadian website and was relieved to see that it is still there

. I thought I was going to have a mini freakout.

Just a note:

MAs and consumers please feel free to discuss any items you have heard are being DCd. In the interest of validity, please list your source if you are comfortable with that (i.e. Official MAC DC List, your MA, etc).
You don't need to give specifics (i.e. your MAs name/store, what store you work at, etc). Thanks.

I will collect all these items in a seperate thread to give a better overview of MAC items being discontinued in 2010.

Just saw the list and it has the Moisturecover Concealer and Vanilla on it.
So have they been confirmed? I thought someone mentioned that Vanilla is not being discontinued.
