yes, MAC_Whore, I think you should def. check Gilded Ash. Hot sex. metal smokey goodness. **drools**
I do not regret purchasing it. Its quite creamy yet I've not had issues w. creasing (like I did last year--the old ones are so flaky now, damn it) and Ive used paintpots, udpp, etc. I think its key to not try and grab a buttload and smoosh it on. I lightly swipe over top with the 242 and apply. a little goes a long way......IT IS LOVE!

I want another one of these... Did anyone get Forged Rose? I didn't pay attention to it in the store...

My Forged Rose arrives tomorrow with Material Gold. I can't wait to see what the colors look like on.

yeah my gold spice hasn't cracked (but i have quite a gouge out of it since i gave a sample away) but its flaky. no matter what. i need to figure out how to rewet it if i ever hope to use it again. (lumping in pink ingot and cyber and fusion gold, all which i own from last year. all flaky!)

Ack, I didn't think of that! Its flakey & dried out??? that's crap. Mine is at least still creamy even though it has the cracks. What the heck can you do if they dry out? Anyone?

Fix+ or Water-based Mixing Medium...those are probably your best bets.

i don't know, maybe i'm just forgetting how the old ones were compared to these new ones? like in terms of consistency. I've not used the old ones in forever, but the old ones seem quite dry. flaky.

I'm tempted to take a bit and put in a few diff sample jars, then add water based MM in one, fix+, etc. something to try!

Got Verdigris

I looked at a bunch of pics & swatches and I think it would look stunning with Gilded Ash

Well, I caved and picked up Gilded Ash and Spiritualize today. Verdigris was also stunning, but I restrained. I think i'm going to use Spiritualize on the lid with Gilded Ash on the outer third of the lid. a combo suggested by the lovely Purrtykitty. I do like the fact that these blend so effortlessly.

Oh I've missed you so much!!! Hope you & the kiddies are doing well. Gilded Ash is a great color for you.
