to the e/s now. I have super oily lids too and I don't want to spend so much time to prepare my lid so that the e/s maybe(!) doesn't crease. I was thinking about buying Pink Platinum.. but no. Wallet agrees!

I kinda wanted Gold Spice too, but all this talk of creasing and blending every half hour may have changed my mind!

I have been in the near vicinity of my MAC counter for two days wanting Gilded Ash. BUT, reading all the posts, I don't know. Since there is a possibility of hitting up a CCO on Thursday, I'm going to see what happens then before getting GA.

I am also say I am joining TEAM NO on this collection, yah the shadows look beautiful, but I am the last person that wants a HIGH MAINTENANCE shadow. The only thing that is catching my eye is possibly a Liquidlast liner..and maybe a sample of the spiritualize pigment..people seem to be loving that color..

Most of the liquidlast liners with this collection are in fact permanent, so no rush unless you want Molten Sol or Visionaire. You should play with them on your hand some and try one on before you buy, too, because some people hate these - you have to wait for them to dry after applying them and can be pretty stubborn to get off. Now, that also means they won't budge once you do let them set.

I like them, but they aren't the easiest to work with. Just sayin'.

I must say I love love love these shadows!... I've got Gilded Ash, Material Gold and Forged Rose. I use it over Urban Decay Eye Primer and there is absolutely no creasing. I like how vibrant and bright they are! Now thinking about getting Pink Platinum and Gold Spice... Oh, and I packed them on with my finger and then blended with 217 brush, but I plan to buy special brush for them sometime soon...

....and, those are the same 3 I got. Today, I received Forged Rose & Material Gold. Forged Rose is beautiful! It is like Expensive Pink es but more intense coppery & shimmery - but not too intense. But you can blend it out to this gorgeous antiqued rose color. Or, you can subdue the color by using Gilded Ash first all over the lid to just above crease, then a pat or 2 of the FR just on lid.

I used Forged Rose just on lid up to crease, then using the 217, ran Gilded Ash in a slight arch just above crease from outer corner to almost side of nose. And then a little bit of MG to slightly highlight just under brow, & outside inner eye corner. Lined with MUFE (Auqua Eyes) 2L - a slight dark bronzey brown, then went over that with MUFE liner 1L - soft black.

It reallllly made my brown/hazel eye color pop. I'm not sure if this color will work for everyone though. I have very dark brown eyebrows, hair & very pale skin tone. I do think however, this may be a gorgeous shade on WOC.

None of my metal es crease, but I prep with BE multi tasking bisque. That, & I could just be a dried up old lady

I use Pink Platinum over one of my paint pots (usually Painterly or Bare Study) and it is pretty, pretty, pretty!

It also stays put all day and doesn't crease. Maybe I'm not as heavy handed with it as some of you, because I find it's a lovely, easy to apply, shadow.

I agree. I don't apply mine too heavily and don't have any issues with it. I have used Gilded Ash on the outer corner for the last two days and it has stayed put through the work day.

I think Gilded Ash is the prettiest of them all.
