I agree I love that shade sooo much. This morning I was in a hurry & needed a quick day smokey eye, so I used Gilded Ash all over, then lined just the upper lash line with Black Russian liner & a lot of black mascara at the outer corner lashes. Used some Blooming Blush (one of the greatest blushes ever!) outlined my lips lightly with Kevyn Aucoin's med. pencil & some MAc lip prep/prime

Sexy day look - Loved it!

I only bought Verdigris from this collection. I've to say... I really like it.

No more MAC for me until my vacation. I need to save up a lot to shop till I drop in Asia.

I bought all three pigments and thats it. The eyeshadows seem way too high maintenance for me. I just don't have that kind of time. And who wants their nurse with these odd smudgy eyes?

I don´t get why there´s so much hate.. I LOVE gilded ash, it did not smudge or crease at all (regular shadow does) and I wore no primer or so. I just put it on very thin and that´s enough since it has so much colour. I´m so in love with this product!

OK I tried it again last night. This time I used a primer. Still creasing. I did however just took my finger and wiped it and it was like brand new again. But do I really wanna keep trying that? I think it's just my eyes. I have those eyes that open bright and wide so I

. I guess my next try will be the LLL. The colors are so pretty that I am determined to find a way until all my efforts have been exhausted. Oh and I don't think I put much on. I use my finger because I don't have a brush that holds the color. The 242 just seems to push it all over the place but no on the brush.

I agree. I used two bases today, applied the metal-x shadows lightly with my finger, and it still all creased to hell. I am getting to the point where I'm giving up on these.

I am clearly in the minority here but I really like the metal x shadows. I really haven't had a lot of trouble with them. I bought three this go around and I plan on getting the other three as well (I already have Gold Spice).

I wore Verdigris with Bare Canvas as my base and I had no problems. I packed on Motif and used Club and Brown Script in the crease. Didn't crease at all.

I havent been here for awhile due to being busy at work. With whats going on in the US these days I'll be working non stop for a very long time. I'm so glad I was referred here, a nice break before my laptop and briefcase own me for the rest of the evening, lol.

I didnt get any of the metal-x but did get a sample of Spiritualize (along with other samples from 1165cheryl, one was 3/4 tsp

, I love her) from the collection and am so glad I asked about Gilded Green before purchasing it. Since my girlfriend had it I waiting until the holidays so I could compare the two and they are very much alike. I also ordered the Bronze glitter and fell in love, I never thought at my age I would be wearing glitter, lol. It add's a nice soft touch to a finished look. I went ahead and placed another sample order for the Rust, Antique Gold, Blackened Red and Copper glitters

This comes out tomorrow. I'm really excited. I don't have issues with anything else creasing so hopefully these won't either. I'm hoping to get gilded ash, material gold, verdigris and metal blu. I'm not sure about forged rose. would it show up more pink or more copper on NC15 skin?
Has anyone tried using shade sticks under the cream shadows?

Hello everyone!

I've just purchased one jar of Cocomotion at a mac store, and i was wondering if this one is supposed to be filled to the top or not? Because mine isn't!

I saw this collection today. I'm always happy to see a new collection, although I wasn't very excited about this collection. It was fun to try them!

Gold Mode is very pretty. Reflects Purple Duo looks more blue than purple. Of course, I like Reflects Very Pink and Visionaire.

Thinking if I should get Visionaire. The texture of the Brushed Metal-X feels wet, and kinda slimy.

It was hard to swatch them, and Pink Platinum was the worst. It showed up as a greenish sheen initially and I had to swatch it five times for the pink to show up. It was hard to swatch Metalblu and Verdigris too. I have put the swatches in the swatch thread, just for fun!

I bought Reflects Very Pink (but at the pro store before the release) and the pigments as samples. But the LLL Visionaire was to pretty to resist yesterday.

The pigments aren't always filled to the top, Shoegal-fr because they are measured in weight and not volume. HTH
