See my problem with cream shadows isn't creasing but this weird thing happens if i try to layer/blend them with another cream shadow or just eyeshadow is that they go all chunky! Its so gross and i notice it happens mostly with the Benefit ones. It looks like hard little chunky spots or like alligator skin! Its awful and i end up having to wipe it all off and start over. I have no clue why this happens or what i can do to fix it??

As with most cream shadows, the trick is to apply it in very thin (multiple) layers and let each layer dry before you continue. Otherwise, it will certainly end up cakey.

I think the silicones in there ball up. Agreed the best way is to apply very, very thin layer and I then I take a clean q tip and thin it out as much as I can to really get it to adhere and not get chunky. Also, if you are going to mix them, mix them on a palette or the back of your hand first and then apply after mixing to your eye. I always get the alligator skin thing too unless I do an uber thin layer. I wonder if application of something like TFSI or UDPP first would limit that, but I don't have time for all that fuss. I am usually layering the PP or cream e/s under powder and I don't want to go with a third layer.

Def going to skip now that I saw the new cream shadows for next year. Thank goodness!

Only prob I have with aqua creams is they dry super quick so its hard to blend them after that. You gotta be quick with them.

I'm not a fan of cream shadows, but I may give a couple a try. I love how Gold Carbon looks.
