MAC Middle Eastern Lipsticks Shade Extension Discussion (Fall 2012)

I will definitely get another Yash as soon as I finish the one I got from MC collection!

Somehow I like it better on me than Peachstock.

Is anybody on Team Yash?

2 out of 3 worn. I used Mehr yesterday and I am so glad it's perm! It was a gorge natural pink on my lips. I am so in love with it! Next up is Yash

I BTM'd some empties and got Mehr. It reminds me very much of Brave, one of my favourite natural if not nude lippies. It's a bit darker than Brave, but it's definitely in the same colour family. In fact, when I put it on it looked so much like Brave that I pulled them out to swatch beside each other.

I wouldn't say it's brown; this is as pink as I can go. But it's definitely a pinky-brown shade. I have a few in this family: Brave, Mehr, Twig, Fast Play. All similar but just a bit different. In fact, I need to not by any more of them until I use them up! (This doesn't count because it was a freebie).

FYI: On Saturday and Sunday the MAC Pro & Soho store staff in NYC did not know these lipsticks were being re-released. When I asked for a "Product managers"(?) or an inventory specialist for each location, both staffers stated that stores had received limited stock and had not inventoried stock for purchase to the public. Seems like these lipsticks are ghosts in NYC. Maybe these will be "officially" released this Thursday the 20th and not the 13th. Is anyone else having problems finding these in stores?

We must be - I love Creme in Your Coffee too!

These are all MLBB shades on me. Most of the ones that others say the same of are lighter than my lips and too pale for me. The only really light shade I have is Kinda Sexy. I love that one with Nice N Spicy liner.

Try Cosmo too. It's been sold out the few times I've wanted to try it on. Probably a good thing.

Does anyone know where I can see swatches of old Mehr and new Mehr, to see if they're the same? I want to get new Mehr (if I can find it in a store I would like to try it on before purchasing...but since I don't know if any of my local Atlanta stores/counters are in the top 50), but I'd like to see it first.

I suggest Mehr too. I was originally worried about it but when I tried it on realized it was a good MLBB lipstick. Gem Of Roses is good for that too. I am also on Team Yash. Was the first l/s I actually backed up.

Now that I have Brave, Twig, Mehr and Fast Play, Cream in Your Coffee, Faux and Cosmo on my wish list can one of you lovely ladies suggest a lip liner. I have stripped down, sub culture and boldly bare. Will those work of should I try something different.

Those are the liners I use the most with neutral MLBB lips. I like Shore Leave PLW liner also (from Hey Sailor) but also Cream O Spice, Oak and Beurre.

I love Oak, its such a nice base color for nude and MLBB lipstick shades... You wont go wrong with this or Soar

I almost forgot about my favorite MLBB of all time: High Def. It was LE but not that hard to find. AND, best of all, Amplifed finish.
