I am not that in love with Blacktrack. I find it too matte finish for my taste - too flat and retro looking. I MUCH MUCH MUCH prefer Wholesome from Shop Cook - it was a warmer black plus has a moister finish, that just seems more modern to me. I WISH they'd bring that one back. It's been too long.
I like a really matte finish to my liner, so I think you're unintentionally enabling me. The word moist and any form of it makes me cringe.

I agree 100%! I hate shiny eyeliners. And the M word is

I heard somewhere that the word "moist" is very annoying to a lot of women - like they did some study or survey about yucky words and moist came out near the top for women.

For someone who has had dry skin all her life, "moist" is an awesome word!!! I like "moist" very much for other things too, if you catch my drift

Wholesome isn't shiny, but it does have a bit of a less dense, black hole, light absorbing sort of effect - my Blacktrack sits around unused most of the time, and I use Wholesome instead. I've been wearing my glossy bright Playland lipsticks + glosses a lot lately though, so I've been thinking about pulling out Blacktrack again as a counterpoint to the ultra-shiny hooker lips. I think it'll be a good look with Peachstock gloss, or the nude lipstick from Pedro Lourenço or the interesting textured nudes like Innocent Patent Polish or Woodwinked, since any really skin colored nude lip plus nude face will accentuate the interplay of texture you'd get with such a flat black in the mix.

Deep Fixation is an extremely special eyeshadow. I've got plenty of shades like it but DF blow them all away. I'm considering backing it up and I never BU shadow. So far, without seeing anything in person, my for sures are Black Ivy (x2 probably) and Nightshade, Blooming Mad (and Green Room, probably). Moody Bloom and Phosphorescent look good, but considering the promo image of Quite the Thing seems really off, who knows what any of these SSs are going to be like. I'm eyeing those particular ones, though. That's it for me for now….
Deep Fixation is on my list but now I'm even more excited to get my hands on it!

Supreme Sheens + Florida = Hot Mess Disaster

I bought one, once, in the summer. I asked the Lord for forgiveness for not researching them better before buying. NEVER AGAIN.
And we are already being bombarded with summer like temperatures? Thanks for the heads up!

hey whatever works for you! :cheer:  I am definitely in the minority about Blacktrack, but I looooove fluidlines in general and even Blacktrack's got its uses on old Dry Eyes over here! I heard somewhere that the word "moist" is very annoying to a lot of women - like they did some study or survey about yucky words and moist came out near the top for women.  For someone who has had dry skin all her life, "moist" is an awesome word!!! I have dry skin too and I can better deal with the word dewy. Dewy, glowy, anything but the M word.

Deep Fixation looks gorgeous but I'm afraid it will give me sick eyes. Any suggestions for a look to avoid the 'I have the flu' coloring? I'm NW20.

I have a similar coloring to you *NC/NW 15-20). I personally never have that issue with colors that have red and pink in the bases (or even straight up reds and pinks) because I like how they look next to my green eyes. However, lots of black liner should do the trick in keeping it from having that look you don't like! Also keep it more towards the crease/outer v.

bahahahahahahahahahaha thanks Liba
I love how the packaging here looks greenish/emerald kinda like how the rising temperature collection was brown instead of black.. It's pathetic but I would buy more from this collection if the packaging were this color haha Yes!! I'm not crazy, someone else that understands my cute packaging obsession lol
Yea I'm with you ladies, I would buy all the things if the packaging was this color!
