I found that the extremes of the colour ranges -- darks and brights and the very lightest (Dalliance) are the best ones to collect and use and give you a lot more versatility

I am trying to decide which to get for the highlighter- I am a peacock freak (as you can see from my avatar self portrait) and I am nuts over peacock colors. If these do not crease (the only thing keeping me from going nuts over them so far) I am so wondering which of these to get too.

I am thinking the red, orange, two darker bronzes and browns, the purples, and the pink, but not sure if I would prefer the yellow white one or dalliance....any input?

You see, as an artist, I have learned that texture is just as important as color when combining makeup or other decorative color agents. So, having this type of texture often combines best with like texture. Otherwise it sticks out way too much.

OMG this is SUCH a hard decision!!!

I placed my order today on the Pro site, I got the orange shadow and the blue and burgundy lippie! It should be here Monday. Here's a lip pic of Peacocky

katred, you would be surprised at how difficult it is to get a really true mid tone complex colour ... like taupe.. I think that is THE most difficult colour to obtain, without it being labeled brown, grey, greige, bone, blah blah blah....

but for this collection -- lightest, brightest and darkest --go extremes !

Nordstrom had testers at the counter today that I could play with. I was most excited to see the blue lipstick but then figured that I wouldn't be able to wear it.

I'd look like a smurf. However, I decided to go with colors that I don't have. I always end up buying the same colors such as nudes. New Year's resolution: Control makeup spending.

Here is my list:

Lipsticks
exxxhibitionist-redtoned coral (nice Spring color)
scandelicious-blue fuchsia (the MA was wearing it and it looked gorgeous on her.)
love peck-blackened blood red (Yay, a real blood red!)

Mega Metal Shadow

tweet me-gold bronze ( I really loved this one. It looks more like a peachy-gold to me.)
mating call-midtone frosted violet
odalisque-deep teal
centre stage-frosted chocolate brown

Having a hard time deciding on which lightest to try, so will go for the dark and bright I guess.

What was the other brown like? Really orangey? Also, is the pararazz-she a bright orange? The red- is it intense? I am thinking of going for bold and bright with this collection.
I also am having trouble deciding on a light one, if any :( So hard when you can not see it in person first.

I can make blue lipgloss at any time with the lipmixes and gloss mix.

Question, in case I would choose to get one or more of these shadows(like I need it :p) are they the same size as stila shadows i.e 36 mm in case I'd want to depot it?

I may just buy Love Peck and call it a done deal. The more I look at stuff, the less excited I am. *shrugs* Oh well. I haven't really been into metallics lately, to be honest.
