Thanks, HerGreyness. I was thinking about a nude liner. I also want to try a burgundy one. I think that will be hot. And yes, I will be the one to go to work with it on.
Can anyone verify whether or not Vanity Fair is streaky. Temptalia says skip it, but I'm not sure I can because I love that color.

I'm trying to decide whether to get Sex-pectations or not. After seeing Temptalia's swatches, I've tried (on my hand) layering Coppering over Cranberry and it's very pretty, but I was wondering whether Sex-pectations would be darker/brighter. Certainly from seeing russianbabe's video it seems that the colour would be longer lasting

I'm glad it'll be available on the 4th because I get to pour all of my money into my account. I'm going to have to carry my phone with me and keep checking the site at work, but hopefully, it'll be online after 3. It'll be fun to see what sells out first.

See I don't think that's fun at all..it makes me cringe when they sell out...it gets me really resenting MAC actually, when they hype up these LE collections and things sell out so quickly that by the time you have a chance to see them in person, even on the day of their public release, they aren't available any more. It's something that's making me (usually) ignore MAC now, actually.
I have a personal rule now of not buying makeup I can't swatch in person(can't always do this but I do always try)...and with MAC I can't seem to do that despite the many counters/stores I could go to around here. More often than not, they are losing my sales lately

That's how I save money lol...I like it better than wasting product, paying for shipping and/or returns for items I end up not using or liking...and I end up accumulating far fewer dupes. Keeps my stash manageable and less overwhelming too. Texture is very important to me, just as important as color...and I need to "feel" that in person.

I can understand that. I guess it'll be fun for me because first, I don't expect this to be anywhere near as crazy as Venomous Villains or the Marine Life powder from To The Beach. I fully expect us to be able to get what we want in a reasonable time. Also, I don't want that much and what I do want is the lip colors while other people are going nuts over the shadows. On top of that, if I do miss out on a lip color by some chance, then I know my local store will have plenty.
I hope everyone gets what they want, but it amuses me to see if I'm right about what will sell out first. And yes, I am also tired of the limited edition crap, but it hasn't stopped me from buying anyway. Mac knows this and that's why it's never going to change.
Sooo...I guess no one can tell me if Vanity Fair lip colour is really hard to work with. I will take a chance and order it because I love the color so much. I can't rely on Temptalia 100% because I have disagreed with past reviews.

Add me to Team Annoyed that things are selling out so gosh darn quickly.
I hate feeling like I have to buy things that I may only be marginally interested in, because if I decide I want it later, it might not be there.
I have that feeling with the Mickey C quad. It is not on my must have list, but I think more and more that it would be a great neutral to night look palette that I might end up wanting, but if I don't buy it when I have the chance (*if it doesn't sell out before I even get that chance*). I won't ever even get to buy it without paying Evil-Bay prices.
It used to be you could pick things up bits and pieces at a time, or over a couple of paychecks at least, but now there are some things gone within a couple of hours of the launch. It is very annoying.
Between this and the ban on information, it has turned me off of MAC. I still buy, of course, but my overall satisfaction with MAC has been on the decline lately.

Flaunting It is going to be so hot! I can't wait. I was excited from the description, but the swatch sealed it. I think it can work on just about anyone.
Am I the only one who can see a little Up the Amp in it, though? Not saying they are dupes at all, but I see them as cousins. Maybe I need to study a colorwheel again.
