good luck ms macshadow.... sometimes if the colour payoff is not too good, then if used wet, you will cement the talc in the formula and it gets a hard surface.... try wetting a small part and see if that works if not you might ruin the whole shebang
yes this is true! for this reason i only wet mineral shadows now - and even then i wet the brush rather than spraying the shadow with fix+ :)

Cutemiauw you should definitely get Odalisque if you don't have Strike a Pose. They are both gorgeous. Also, So Vain would look great on you, I think. It works on me. It's not milky or pale at all.
Thank you Shontay, you just sealed the deal on Odalisque for me :). And So Vain.

Okay I'm ready for Peacocky haul now. Can we get it today already in Europe?

I wore Prance on my lid with a bit of mixing medium and it lasted all day. I didn't even use a base. I usually use Painterly p/p under all my eyeshadows but seems like these eyeshadows are more crease-proof, at least on my lids (I'm not very oily).

Singer82 - I'm glad you like SOY :) warm browns, burgundies and purples are our friends

I'm still loving the kissable lip colours I bought. I have now had the opportunity to wear all of them out and they wear consistently well on my lips. I get 5-6 hours outta them. For reference though, I always scrub my lips at night and apply a rich balm in the morning (winters are brutal in Canada). I also put a bit of foundation on my lips as I do my face. This is my routine for all my lipsticks and I find the MAC kissable lip colours, all Chanel lipsticks and Nars matte velvet pencils are the longest lasting products. While obv the Kissable colours are the cheapest ones :D

Anyway, I wore Vanity Fair yesterday to work with subtle purples smokey eyes and got sooo many compliments. Thank you Elegant One for raving about Vanity Fair

. I think I like it even more than Snob, seriously! And I'm on my second tube of Snob. If you are light to light medium and lean to the cooler side of the spectrum, def check out Vanity Fair. Here's a pic:

Thanks, that's what I was thinking but then someone said they used thiers wet, so I thought perhaps the UD's were somehow different. Maybe I will just try one at the edge.

Several years ago a MAC ma told me to use e/s wet for a liner and I found out the hard way it made my e/s all hard and yucky. So now I'll use another type of liner and then put some reg e/s over that if I want that color or just to change it up a bit. I do like the MES wet. But sometimes I'm too lazy so sadly they don't get much love.

MES if used wet give you their best performance.. but do be careful and go slow with other shadows... and good luck!

I wore Dalliance, Centre Stage and Siahi again! Love, love, love all three. I also wore Bite of an Apple and Exxxhibitionist. I felt purrrty. :pretty: Off Topic: My first trip to a CCO. That Woodbury Commons CCO was such a letdown. They had damn near nothing and most of what they had I already own or really, really didn't want. Having said that, I spent $100:)haha:) on lipglass and lipstick. I was on the hunt for shadows, blushes and brushes, though. Next time, I will go to the one in Jersey. My friend just knew Woodbury would be awesome.

Shontay....I am sorry to hear that you did not have a big choice at the CCO!

And I hope that you will find much more on your next trip to the other one.

Bite of an Apple + Exxxhibitionist must be a perfect combo!

I was not sure what to wear on my cheeks together with Exxxhibitonist but BOA is such a great idea.

[/quote] They are a match made in heaven. BOA goes great with Exxxhibitionist, Viva Cyndi and Toxic Tale. Glad I got that blush because I was definitely going to pass. I don't know what I was thinking. Fighting the hype, I guess.

still no face charts or artists in action for this collection. annoyed about that. i wish they didn't stop giving a little bit extra education to the consumers and enthusiasts.

I totally agree - I would have loved face charts for this collex! There would have been so many awesome possibilities :) I think it must be because there's so much coming out in a such a short period of time, nowadays. Still... I wish I wish wish!!

Hi girls!

I know this is probably somewhere in this thread but there is so much to go through, so i'm sorry if this is a repeat question (which is probably is), but how are you guys applying these shadows? I absolutely *love* them, but I've tried using (I think) my 239 brush, and my finger, and it seems like my finger is working better but it still seems like they should be going on more easily or smoother. Its kinda hard to describe. Anyway, I was wondering how your applying them??

Thanks so much!
