Ooh, I'm glad you mentioned Chatterbox. Why do you like it so much? How is the formula? I kept thinking and thinking about it but some review (on makeupalley, I think) said it was dry. Inform (and enable) me, please.

It is an amplified but not as creamy as the regular amplified. It is a not to cool pink with just enough warmth for me to get away with it.
I wear it with Vino and NYX Pinky l/l. I try not to put too much gloss over top b/c that makes amplified gloopy to me. If you don't like the formula, try LoveLorn.
People compliment me with it on all the time, so I guess it brightens my face.

Oh my goodness I remember wearing those my Junior year in high school in 2005!!! We were doing a "British Invasion" concert with my choir and we wore those to play off of the Rolling Stones lol

Oh man why did I stumble upon this thread?!! To think I was losing some of my MAC love and then I see this
I wanna try the collection it looks so nice and I'm glad its permanent because that means I dont have to rush out and get it.

I liked this thread better when I thought they were the old pro wear lipsticks.. it would of cost me a lot less!

^^ true true to all the above posts -- this is perm, so no need to get it in a rush. I bought lippies cuz I need to do some research on them.. and see if I can find those plump flocked and juicy lips
Meanwhile.. back at WWD, this is what James Kaliardos mu artist extraordinare says about those lips:
Kaliardos did a “strong but neutral eye” with metallic brown and champagne hues. He first applied the brown all around the eye, then topped that with the champagne, blending the shades for a “soft, diffused, Jaclyn Smith-before-Kmart” effect.
Girls with darker skin tones got a combination of copper and black around the eyes.
A “strong magenta lip” had a “melted lipstick texture,” Kaliardos said, “like a gloss that covers lipstick.”
Cheeks got a thin layer of foundation, were contoured, highlighted and blushed.

^I LOVE this look. Kevin Aucoin taught this eye look. Partly what I do to my eyes - but I have never thought of JS pre kmart
