MAC - Surf Baby Discussion

I just called my Macy's mac & they only got 3 MP Blushes!!!!! THREE

2 Gilded white eye pencils 6 Hibiscus ls, 3 Bust Out ls - what the heck. There won't be anything for their party???

Fortunately they always hold my stuff & I'm there before the store opens

I plan on calling my local mac counter as soon as it opens, and pre-ordering My Paradise...I hope they still have one in stock *crosses fingers*

Just got back from MAC.....picked up Hibiscus x2, KK and Surf USA. The brush wasn't on display and it was getting crowded so I didn't even ask. The MUA applied 2 of the bronzer sticks to my face but after I got back to work I've decided not to get em. Done with this collection....Where's Semi-Precious? lol

Is macy's releasing the collection today or tomorrow? I called the counter yesterday and she said they're still releasing it Thursday, but everywhere else is putting the collection out today, so i'm confused. I really don't want to miss out

Did you try Hibiscus on???? Whats it look like on you if you did?

Sorry for a silly question, what is the difference between fs stores and counters? The ones in the department stores are counters?

Not a silly question. And, yes, that's the difference. "FS" is free-standing, meaning Mac's own boutiques, whereas counters are the ones that are inside department stores.

I'm really confused and irritated by the mixed messages MAC CS is sending. So it will be restocked? It won't be? I'm really hoping that they hold my Hibiscus tomorrow- the SA or MUA who answered didn't seem to know what I was talking about but took my name and said she would hold it for me. I was hopeful I could buy that one and the backorder would get sent to me eventually and I'll have my backup but now I'm not so sure.
