since i got my surf baby items i have only worn hibiscus once - i really need to wear it tomorrow. i feel bad that so many are lusting for it and mine is just sat there!

I just had that conversation with the other addict I was waiting outside of MAC with. It's crazy how we just have to have things and when we get them it's like meh....and on to the next obsession. such a shame

My MAC store had everything in stock bcuz the MA said they literally got the stock in last night and she had to open boxes to get my stuff . . . Okay so im bad (holds head in shame) this is what I got :

both pigments stacks . . . .. yes I said it BOTH !! I couldnt help myself

ETA: BTW- I took my NARS trio Cap Ferrat back. It was pretty!! BUT I couldnt justify having the trio, STO and surf USA as well!

I always love my makeup & never tire of it. But it does become like a box of crayons, if you only have the 8 pack of crayons you can pick which color you want to use easily - but then you end up with the jumbo 64 count box of crayons because you need more colors & then they each get lesser love because you always need a new color

[/quote] I just got caught up on 665 post, and this! A million times this! I'm going to dinner with hubby tomorrow and I'm determined to use hibiscus! Also, id love some advice please ladies, for those with fair colouring which careblend powder would you recommend? I intend to use it for all over bronzing or contouring? I'm not sure if its worth owning, but it keeps calling my name :eyelove:

I would definately recommend the gold go-lightly careblend (the lighter of the two).

I am fair too (NW15) and this is more than pigmented enough - definately don't need any darker in my opinion. HTH!

Also, id love some advice please ladies, for those with fair colouring which careblend powder would you recommend? I intend to use it for all over bronzing or contouring? I'm not sure if its worth owning, but it keeps calling my name

Checking in cuz I see that some items that were sold out are coming soon now. Not ordering ish online, but it's annoying to see sold out and then coming soon and then everybody is waiting and refreshing to see if the items will actually come back into stock.

I am so glad I put items on hold at two counters because one of the counters only got in 3 sun blond e/s so I would have been out that one. Apparently, the whole collection is on hold according to my MA at the first counter so whoever rolls up into Bloomies won't be getting any of the color items from the collection at all. I haven't checked with my backup counter to see what they couldn't get to put on hold for me yet.

Not at all. The one thing I really like about this powder is that it does not seem to have any orange or red tones at all, its a true matte brown. I don't feel that 'gold' is actually a good name for it to be honest, possibly a bit misleading, as that makes me think of an orangey colour.

I've been using it as a bronzer/contour underneath my cheek bones and it seems to work well for this.
