I just called and they said that backordered items, -hibiscus- should ship tommorow, that the stock just got in this morning and that I can be assured that I will get my order if I didn't cancel.

*impatiently waiting and trying to not to get hopes up*

I have enough coral coming out of my crayon box so I really just ordered this for giggles and the rest of my crayons would have a new friend.

Just back from macy's. I ended up with:

2 Hibiscus ls - GORGEOUS GORGEOUS on! I love it.
My Paradise blush
Gilded White eye pencil
2 samples jars of the darkest colors in the pigment stacks - for me, they were too metallic
Mix & Switch Mineral ES Duo - I didn't even know about these. Beautiful color for Blue, Green, Hazel eye color

That's nice that the SA was willing to give you pigment samples. I asked one for the seafoamy green one because i've never tried these kind of pigment before, and she said that they're not allowed to give pigment samples. She said she would make an exception this time, but she only gave me TINY TINY amount, not even enough for one eye, seriously. When i looked at the sample jar, it looked like it was empty

I'm glad to see Hibiscus is available online again so anyone who missed it earlier in the week can still order it. I picked it up this morning at my counter and love it!

Elegant, one day I am following you into the Chanel thread with the rest of the ladies in June. I am so addicted to Mac and Nars price points that anything above that makes my palms sweat.

I am going to check this collection in all its surfiness after work and maybe the crowd will have died down. I really am looking into the bronzer and careblends.

I have Surf USA and Sun Blonde on hold at my counter... I don't feel compelled to *rush* there to buy them... Do you think that means I should skip? I have a 15 pan of teals, and it's my favorite e/s color, but I just don't know without seeing it how unqiue it is... and Sun Blonde looks fairly unique compared to what I have already, but I wonder how much I would reach for it. I heard it flashes green, which I why I think I want it... anyone else see the green?

No! Well that's not right to my knowledge.So sorry dear. You should be able to get samples of pigments with no problem unless there is another new Mac rule that I am unaware of. That Seafoam green is really pretty too. Too bad she was stingy on the amount too

I was the only one at the counter for over an hour - so awesome. Oh, the teals are beautiful in person. I really really like the teal (Noon) eye pencil in person. I still may get it.

15 teals sounds like a lot. But if you do buy Surf USA, I'm betting it will become the teal you reach for the most. It's unbelievably pigmented.

I don't see Sun Blonde flashing green, so if that's the reason you're drawn to it, I'd skip.

I swatched it but didn't care for it - but thats just me - on my hand at least, it looked a little sickly. Almost a tinge Chartreuse yellow with a tinge of gold. Also, my Macys has really crappy lighting As far as flashing a bit green - I didn't see that.

The teal eye pencil & shadow are beautiful. hugs!

So I just got to work from MAC. Everything that I was going to get I so wasn't impressed by it! So I only ended up with Surf USA and Swell Baby!
I did like Sunblonde but I can live without it because honestly I'd wear it once and forget about it. Saffron was too orange for my taste and Short Shorts (which I thought would be my fav) just didn't impress me at all. My Paradise is sooo pretty and I tried it on and I would have got it but I have very dry skin and it was too powdery to my liking and very powdery makeup picks up on my dry spots bad. So I skipped it. But its very pretty!

I was so amazed by the pigments(the darker stack) and I didn't pay attention to them until today. The texture is just amazing!! I like 3/4 colors! I had him put it on hold for me until tomorrow because I was going back to pick up some regular MAC items!

I personally didn't like Hibiscus on me but it is a pretty color. I def. think SURF USA and the pigments stacks were the stars for me! The guy who helped who is super nice btw gave me an eye look using the shadows! So gorgeous. And he threw in a free pigment that I had been wanting! I love that guy truly helpful!

I can't believe some didn't love MP blush Its so Beautiful on especially with the Hibiscus ls. It comes out a true red based coral on me. I just used the 187 (lightly & blending into the skin) making sure I didn't hit the gold - not really wanting the gold part. It when on smoothly & did not find it to be powdery or chalky - not at all

i wore sun blonde today on my lids with surf usa in the crease - such a lovely and beachy combo! shame we have had horrible rain all day though!

Thank God for this board and YouTube. My Macy's had everything in boxes behind the counter, nothing was put out and only one MA! Luckily, the lady from Clinque was helping out and she went through all the boxes to find me the Surf the Ocean Pigment set, Lush Lightly Bronzer and I got Lady Gaga 2. I would have never known what I wanted if 1. The nice lady didn't let me play with some stuff yesterday and 2. (and most importantly) if it weren't for you all here! LOL

That's the reason that I am unimpressed with it, I was expecting an orange blush judging by the pan colour. It's pretty, I don't regret getting it and putting gold in tones down the red. But I don't know WHY it's coming up red-coral on my skin, since when swatched it's orange. I have swatched on my blog that I just put up in case anyone is interested.

You're right, its does look more orange in the pan for sure & does actually swatch more orange than red coral. For me, my skin tone has pink tones to it, so it naturally pulls colors more pink or red - same with my lips. My lips are very pigmented mauvey & they pull everything more pink toned too.

my counter only got 2 of the pigment stacks too! from other counters around it sounds about the same.. but from what i understand its all backordered and should be restocked about 2-3 weeks later! so if you dont get it today or this weekend check back! i absolutely LOVE the colors!! i got swell baby, surf usa and sun blonde! plus light lush careblend pressed powder and the gilt bronze stick.. IM IN LOVE! im NOT a bronzing person AT ALL and i am obsessed! I LOVE SUMMER!
