NARSissist Eye Palette

For the last two hours, I have been trying to order it, but even though there's a add to cart button, it says it's sold out once it's in the cart. I wonder if they either sold out really fast, or if they have more to put up later.
I contacted Nordstroms, and yes it is sold out "for now." Possible restock coming though.

If anyone has an American Express that is linked with Facebook/Twitter, there is a promo for Nars.com/Nars Boutique, that is you spend $100, get back $20. Exp 1/31/14.
I don't see it anymore, it might be selected accounts.

Planning on getting the palette & the final cut.

I was thinking that the most impressive thing about this palette was how it seemed to achieve an overall neutral balance. Very impressive.

Here are Temptalia's "sneak peek" swatches of all the colours:

I have to say that I "disagree" with the swatches of Ashes to Ashes and Lhasa. (can you disagree with a swatch?) I'm not sure if it's the difference between our skin tones or lighting, but both Ashes to Ashes and Lhasa are much cooler on me than they look in these swatches. There's a photo of both shades here (sorry for linking my own blog, it was just the one place I knew where I could find swatches of both shades together):

Personally, I've decided to skip this palette, not because I don't think it's a great deal- it is, and if you don't have many regular Nars shadows, I would recommend it- I just think I have too many of the shades already and some of those I want are part of duos where I want BOTH shades, so I'd rather just buy those.
Yeah, on me Ashes to Ashes is a purple with a brown undertone, rather than a brown with a purple undertone. Lhasa is darker on me, too. I think these colors really look different on everyone but that's what makes them so lovely.

I don't wanna start buying the duos yet, so I hope this will tide me over. There are just too many pretty colors and not enough money lol.

After reviewing temptalia's swatches. I think some of my original nars shadows look superior to the swatches in this limited ed palette. But we shall see when it arrives.

Glad you've taken the plunge and started posting! Thanks for the tip on the international release date. Normally, we have the same dates as Europe here in Canada, although I'm not sure why...

Thanks Katred! ;)

I also disagree with T's swatches ^_^ they seem patchy imo. I sooo wanted the palette, now i must admit i'm kind of reluctant... I don't think the pale shades will show on me and I have my heart set on the cheek palette. What to do, what to do...

Is anyone getting the blush palette? I want it just for that brush - it looks great, so I'm waiting for reviews of the quality! I actually don't own Orgasm or Laguna, so I will probably get it anyway, depending on how expensive it is here.

Swatches on other websites look fine, so I don't get why Temptalia's swatches are so patchy.
Anyway, I also have a few shades from that palette, but I really want it. Crossing fingers it's released in mid-january so I might get this for my birthday. :D

I would have gotten the blush palette if it weren't for Orgasm. I wish they can make Devotee part of the permanent line.

Thanks for the swatches and pictures. :)

Glad you ladies are able to order it! So I just finished swatching and playing with it the first time. I apologize in advance if the pics aren't the best but I'm just using my phone. Hope it still helps someone.

Then, I did an eye look using Constructivist Paint Pot as my base, Ashes to Ashes all over the lid, Bali in the crease, Pandora in the outer v, and Madrague II to blend it out. Pictures don't do this justice. It's so pretty! Sorry for the close-up but it shows the color best (and my shininess lol). Also, can't wait to try these colors over It's Physical Fluidline!
def. getting the palette now! and your shadow is beautiful!
