steel blue pigment : which description is right
hi,
just found "The Originals" on the MAC site and for the "steel blue" pigment it had this description:
"Pigment, Steel Blue
Shade description: Rich deep turquoise green blue shone with small pearl particle (Frost)"
The MacPRO site however describes "steel blue" as:
"Pigment, Steel Blue
Shade description: Rich deep turquoise green blue shone with small pearl particle (Pearl particle)"
does anyone know if it is a mistake? or if it is a repromote of the original macpro pigment, or if it is the same name but a frosty texture?

i mentioned this elsewhere... but it's interesting that there's no triangles of death next to any of the items, indicating that they are LE. I wonder if the triangle will be added later? hmmm.
anyone from the US who is used to seeing collections up on the site before they are released - can you confirm when the LE triangle usually pops up?

I do 99% of my MAC shopping online and the triangle appears when the item is released for purchase.
If you look at any LE product that is "sold out" there is no triangle next to the item....e.g. Metal-X virgin silver and plum electric es and any of the other "sold out" items from the other collections.

I believe it was a mistake as its just the Steel Blue that's available through the PRO # therefore pearl finish. (am I right to assume the jar stickers will be black rather than the PRO Clear?)
Though honestly I have pearl textures and frosts and I don't see a huge difference--the pearl ones I have are frosty.

They are available now on the pro site & there are no triangles!

Just called MAC & the lady said that they will not be available to purchase on the site until Jan. ! Why put them up on the site if you can't order!!! That's what I told the lady that answered the phone too.
They have told me later dates before, then all of the sudden you can order them early.

I don't believe that. There is always such poor communication within the MAC organization.

Ah, you are very wise, I did not realise that you had to be signed in to see the true status. Sadly, I'm not a pro-member, so I really don't know now

Yeah, but it was just to say 2-day orders placed by Thurs will arrive by Mon rather than by Sat. I still think this will launch tomorrow...or Thurs at the latest. Fingers crossed!
