Has anybody tried Sun Blonde on the lower lashline?

I have - LOVE IT.

It's also gorgeous on the brow bone - hell, I've already worn it ringing the entire eye to the brow, with Feline lining upper/lower waterline and a dab of the gold crushed metal pigment in a straight line down the center from eyebrow to eyelash. That was a fierce as hell look with Pet Me Please l/s and some contouring.

Can I scrape the base color out and send that back to you in return? My god, this is the most finicky blush I've ever allowed myself to own, but if the overspray + shimmer had been clear, white or champagne instead of gold it would have been much easier to deal with.

Absolutely! I love the blush color on. It's just a slight orange coral red on me. Ooh, Champagne would have been very nice

I try so hard to keep my 187 out of the gold dust - like it has cooties or something

Awe. I thought I was finally done with Surf Baby, but now I am close to getting Sun Blonde. I had not even swatched it when I was at the MAC store. I wonder if it will show up more yellow or more gold on NW20 skin...
Sun Blonde is magic in the inner eye. I wore it about a week ago with Surf USA on the lid and Print/Bough Grey in the crease.

Today I actually liked Hibiscus. I think it's because I was wearing a green shirt. Still needs to grow on me more if it wants to earn a spot on the counter. :p

i am loooooooving hibiscus! today i wore short shorts all over the lid with a little bit of a random brown for contour, heavy black cat eye eyeliner with urban decay Mullet liquid liner over it for sparkle, then lined my lips with Coral lip pencil from Estee Lauder hibiscus and strange potion. i loved the look and will probably be wearing something similar for the next few days just so i can wear hibiscus =) its going great with my memorial day weekend tan btw..lol..

well i am wearing my current favourite eye look - sun blonde on the lid and surf usa in the crease - such a pretty look. i'm hoping it lasts a while on me today. it's pretty hot outside though :( i found a golden yellow ud 24/7 liner that i used on my lid as a base! i'll see how that works out :)

^ Oh that sounds so pretty! Do you have a picture of it? I went to a counter today and I saw a girl wearing something that might have been that exact combination, but she was too busy for me to ask her! I thought it was gorgeous!

I haven't even bought anything from this collection yet! I'm seriously considering Sun Blonde and Surf USA now, though! I also really liked the look of Hangin' Loose nail polish, as I've wanted a nude-pink polish for a long time already!

I'm trying to place an order on the MAC site, and for some reason Surf USA is not being added to my shopping cart! It says it is available and I am allowed to click 'add to bag' but it isn't showing up! Ugh, does that mean it's sold out? I hope not! Maybe I have to clear my cache... anyone have this happen before? I want to order like right now (impulsive). :p

EDIT: Yes, it is sold out. :( Guess I'll have to hunt for it at the counters/store in person!

i went to the mac counter yesterday night after work and the collection was out. only my paradise was sold out but everything else was still there including the pigment stacks!

bt i was good and only grabbed hibiscus and KK (on impulse).. i still have my eyeshadows (saffron, surf usa, sun blonde) and strange potion coming from the us, so my haul for this collection is settled!

i tried on hibiscus and while its a little orangey, i like it. i dnt have cyndi to compare to bt i still like it..

yeah that's the issue - sheer, move around loads no matter what base or primer i use and hard to get on my brush in the bronze ones case! good job i'm very impressed with the shadows and lippies i bought from the collection!

Same happened to me! I hope you find a way that works for you! These pigments are gorgeous in swatches, but then when you wear them they seem really sheer.
That's exactly what I thought when I swatched them, they were so sheer on me but gorgeous in their containers. I got my Surf USA today :) and I wore Hibiscus. Finally I am impressed with the Cremesheen formula, but to wear Hibiscus I definitely need a blush. Any recommendations?

I had the same issue with the Sun Blonde yesterday (though it was on the US site). I used a different browser and eventually could place my order.

I got my backordered My Paradise yesterday and I absolutely love it. I kind of reminds me of orange sherbert and the color is really sublte on my skin (MUFE F&B 44). So now I'm done with this collection and hopefully I won't want anything from semi-precious next month.

Strange Potion is so rescuing Hibiscus for me without it I would declare this a miss on me. Lovely color but I think I am going to try a sheer pink gloss to lighten it and make a hint pink or just keeping SP with it but I should've followed my initial notion and not gotten it but you live and learn.
i have been using, y2k, deep purple or expresso (dupe for mac chesnut) all by NYX liners with hibiscus blended out and i love the look. topped with MAC's clear lipglass and its been bomb! for some reason hibiscus looks 100x better with a gloss over it. I have also noticed that its pretty long wearing. After I drink or eat while wearing hibiscus, my lips are stained a pretty coral. love it. I find it may look good full color on alot of women but for me, since my top lip is brown and my bottom lip is red deep pink (something like that, lol) i sheer hibiscus out on the top lip, using my finger and clear lip glass. then I amp it up on the bottom and blend with the clear lip glass the same way. It comes out so beautiful. Since corals on the lips never worked for me, I am so happy. Hibiscus is my top MAC color for 2011 so far. its just WOW and I am loving the results I get from it.

I will have to try the 168 for MP, but I like that the 188 gives me more control as I can build up the color. I am glad that everybody is having fun with MP.
